Here's the Skill Gem information for the new Charged Dash!

How does it interact with dual wield? Do they alternate or hit with both weapons together?

And what's the basic travel speed of the skill?

im guessing it alternates weapons per attack through its channeling.
also they said the base travel speed is lightly more than your current movement speed.
wait when it says 100% more damage with hits at maximum dash distance, does that mean if you go the maximum dash distance that all hits do 100% more damage? or only the hit/hits at the actual maximum dash distance of 60 units will do 100% more damage?
Do we use this with Raider?
I like the way it looks with phasing, movement speed, and frenzy charges...

Or is this the silly thing that you CwC and Lightning Warp with?

I mean with blade flurry you can hold it until your eyes bleed but it won't release until you're ready. I'm glad I can decide when I want to release the skill, I would hate to be forced to go somewhere versus I'm in control of when I'm ready to move.

this isn't a valid comparison, as blade flurry isn't a movement skill.

except if you just keep channeling literally nothing happens. you're not moving farther, and you're not doing damage because it only does damage when you release and teleport.
the auto release at max range makes sense, that way you're not just wasting time if you don't have the timing down.

I still prefer to not move if the situation at the end of the skill range changes. Like that one Exile placing its Flameblast there or a pack of frost bearers exploding. Getting the timing down on the other hand should take a few minutes of practice.
Thank you for the skill information. I had a preliminary build set up for this and can now refine and finalise it.

Off Topic: I wish to also thank you Bex, very kindly. In 4 pages you have responded numerous times to questions and providing clarity where requested. While I do not frequent the forums much more than catching up on critical announcements, this seems 'unprecedented' to me, not by you, but in general.

It is no wonder that you sport that cool looking banner in your signature.

I am rather certain that I speak on behalf of everyone when I say that we truly appreciate it.

Really interesting Skill so many factors involved building round this. I may play this exclusively in the forthcoming Harbinger League.

How can we calculate the DPS of this skill with AoE / attack speed / movement speed?

I think it's going to depend on more brass tacks that we don't quite have access to yet.

There's going to be more AoEs with more attack speed and more distance with more MS.
The way I imagine it you're going to want to overlap AoEs as much as possible so higher attack speed is good, and increased AoE may be mandatory depending on what the default radius looks like.
And lower move speed might actually be better, unless the interaction is weird. (Maybe there's an artificial limit on how many area effects can be made in a short distance)

For example we can't tell how many AoEs are made if you 1.8 APS vs. 2.0 APS and then channel to max distance, that is, where are the noticeable break-points for making a new AoE? How much do those matter?
Why am I wearing a heavy belt if I haven't got any pants?
actually you don't get more distance with more MS. the max distance is fixed, more MS just gets you there faster and thus less time to generate attacks while moving.
