Righteous Fire in 3.0

Dellirium gloves give +30% more
If Efficacy is gone from 15% to only 30% at level 20 then is not a big hit.
Gloves or Gem will be alike. I know gem has also 10% increased damage but that is little overall.
With MoM effecting RF in 3.0 I'm thinking about RF + Scorching Ray with Searing Touch.

It is not as little as you think. 10% increased dot from that gem plus a q20% increased AOE and thats 10% increased area damage as well for 20% total increased damage for using a 6 link, would definetely be better than using a 4 link.

Have you tested it on totems, too? Might hook on to the Totem Duration Tag like Rapid Decay does.

Allowing for a total of 256% more damage (286% if CTI does in fact work)


Burning damage is only 69% increased damage btw, not more. It's barely worth using imo. Best is just to go with a 4link and get the more damage over time mod.

Did you test to see if Chance To Ignite could be linked to Righteous Fire?
Whats everyone's thought's in regards to life based vs low life so far in beta?


Seems low life is still much better.
RF in 3.0 probably one of the top builds.

As always, LL is the stronger build. So long as it gets a higher health pool to utilize for damage, it will always be the case. Not even factoring in the additional auras that you can utilize (For example, you can run Flam + Vuln on Blasphemy while still getting Disc+PoF+Vit)

However, Life is still far easier to make. Not only because you don't NEED a Shav's, but also because the regen nodes are in amongst the life nodes you'll be taking anyway and now there's MoM that can be built around to reduce the amount of health damage you take from RF. (Whereas LL is actually burning for the combined Life and ES damage, while only regenerating based off ES pool, so going through life nodes to get regen can actually be less worth as it increases the damage you take from the Life burn)
