Rapid decay working now with RF?

" My guess is no, I couldnt imagine why they would buff RF even more after buffing inc burning + buffing burning damage nodes on tree, It would be ridiculous. |

" Rapid Decay doesn't Effect Righteous Fire Probably Chance to Ignite as the 6th Link Edit: Also you would never use Increased AoE and Concentrated effect in the same link. That would just cut out effective potential damage while lowering your overall AoE. Last edited by XerxezBreak#3933 on Jun 15, 2017, 1:37:12 PM

" You'll want to avoid this support gem. It gives supported skills a chance to inflict Ignite when they hit an enemy. Due to engine limitations Righteous Fire and other DoT effects are never considered to 'hit'. It won't work. "VPs are not required to change their posting style. They are still welcome to express their opinions and take part in any discussions they wish. Their only responsibility is to continue doing what they have always done - posting in a friendly and constructive manner."

" That's not the part of the skill gem that matters. Chance to Ignite Support gives a global 60-79% More Fire Damage. Last edited by XerxezBreak#3933 on Jun 15, 2017, 2:14:45 PM

What about Ele focus + Controlled destruction + chance to ignite + Efficacy + inc aoe / conc effect? That should be the most dmg you can get.

" The burning effect that damages both the player and enemies is not affected by x% increased Spell Damage, so Controlled Destruction would have no effect on Righteous Fire. Last edited by XerxezBreak#3933 on Jun 15, 2017, 2:01:15 PM

" I don't quite understand what you mean. Conc effect is a more damage gem and less area, while AoE will increase area and increased damage from quality. So you never cut the damage in the setup Conc Eff + AoE. RF is working in 5L damage wise: RF-Ele focus-Conc Eff - Increasing Burning - AoE You can add also item rarity or item quantity. Is simple to see what is working and what is not. Just put RF + what ever gem and see if indication appears near RF icon. Chance to ignite dosen't work. It works with something that can ignite, and increase the burning damage from that ignite. Will not work with the burning damage from RF because it doesn't ignite. |
