Get Rid Of Reddit GGG
Reddit is a completely different community not owned by GGG or PoE in any shape or form, nor organized by GGG or PoE.
How do you purpose they shut down an open forum that anybody can join. It'll be like asking GGG to shut down my blog I made from wordpress. Last edited by RagnarokChu#4426 on May 4, 2017, 4:12:07 PM

" " xD Chris created the POE reddit. They may not admin it anymore, but I think if they wanted to shut it down, they could. Fortunately, Reddit offers them a really active source of interaction with their player-base, and love it or hate it, it is an important part of the "community" in PoE. U MAD?

" Respect your opinion but i cant agree that.If it was true For me i didnt quit those games and i wont be here . |

" I think your missing the point. I said "owned". I can also create a PoE subreddit too, I don't own it neither does chris or GGG. Since it's a public forum within a collaboration of public forums. They cannot shut down "open forums". If they decided to delete the current PoE subreddit, anyone including you literally can create the next 10 with 0 legal recursions or with any rules people agree on. They don't literally own the idea of a place to discuss PoE. Even if I moderate the PoE subreddit people can disagree wtih me and create their own PoE subreddit with their own rules. Also I would think that the developer of the game would be one of the first people to create a subreddit for it. At best if they 'really wanted too' if they have admin rights is to delete the current PoE subreddit. which is pretty pointless since people can recreate it in less then an hour with some other admins. "subreddits" are just basically threads within reddit. Nobody else other then legal rights or some sort of society pressure/rukes can force Reddit itself to remove the ability to make whatever "threads" you want just like in a forum. Next to Twitch (streamers), PoE Reddit is the 2nd worst thing for the development of this game and community.

Why? Reddit is the really the only thing continuing any level of intelligent conversation regarding this game anymore outside of a few valued posters here. These forum pages have been a cesspool for quite sometime outside of the character class pages and the item display cabinet.
Seriously look at every forum. Every other thread is a shitpost complaining about the same things over and over again. The same 12 people post in each thread complaining. Some posted here in this thread already, you guessed it, complaining. Eventually that gets pretty old. OP you haven't played the game long enough to see how GGG acts. While they have kneejerked in the past, generally they leverage the community to uncover problems and then make their own decision regarding the solution. I don't really see the problem with that. This game is extremely complicated from a balance standpoint and I trust that GGG will nerf or buff what is needed. Sometimes there are unforeseen consequences (ex:COMK) but people live. The game is balanced around 3 month leagues anyway and you shouldn't be concerned about any of this. GGG cares about their game and the integrity of their game. Don't be another passive aggressive shitposter here who threatens to quit because they think GGG owes them a personal apology because of their actions. Get over it, GGG is the 1% here who actually give 2 shits about their players, don't be an entitled whiner please. Prophecy @ WizKid - 94 BV Pathfinder

" +1,000,000 This. So much this. U MAD?

" Im not sure if i agree with this most of the time, but there are some intelligent posters there also more ppl seem willing to discuss something on reddit, here its either agreement or hostile disagreement. My only problem with reddit is ggg listen to it to much and seem to completely ignore the feedback section. And since reddit is very circular with its upvote system its a pretty crap feedback system for balance. |

" They see everything posted here in the feedback section. They have talked about why they don't directly respond to a lot there in the past, and to be honest, based on the absolute garbage that gets dumpstered in the "suggestions" category... I don't think you can blame them. U MAD?

" Yes theyve said they see it, ive never seen a change made based on this forum unlike grand spectrum for example based on reddit. Do i blame them not to much. |
