I'm more worried about the suggestions post in this forum than reddit in all honesty.

Be 50/50.

By that I mean accept both your forums general and suggestions and also the good part of reddit,the talk about mechanics,more direct interaction with GGG to concentrated threads that really matters.

Reddit does no good when highlighting bad threads.But highlighting bugs,balance and other crucial issues?Hell yeah,reddit rulez in this matters

So yes,things must get needed.Things must get balanced.All what reddit does is highlighting issues.Change your /hot to /controvesial and you can watch how good some threads are isolated.

For example a thread like this,in reddit wouldn't make first page and would likely be downvoted to oblivion.And that is because you try to suppress a whole active community without contributing anything

That whole upvote/downvote system is cancerous garbage though

And based on the time of day you can downvote into oblivion or upvoted to the top.

I do think it's sad they don't say much in their own forums, not sure what started that whole thing.

They really believe that their ideas are the best ideas. When someone else perfectly points out all the flaws in their ideas, those replies are ignored and they just reply to some other comment from someone equally as clueless.

Democracy is a fickle thing.

Even if it was possible, which it's not, if PoE on Reddit is shutdown, that community will either move here or move to some other social media. You can't silence people by removing their medium, and even then you shouldn't be allowed to call for silencing anyone, lol. I hate Reddit too, but what you want is inconceivable.

At least it's entertaining read while at work. I can't help but think there is a wall of fame at GGG that has all the best(worst?) posts like OP's on it.

exactly, I started playing video games at the age of 4 and it quickly became an obsession of mine, and with that experience I get to know a lot about games in general. Let's talk about a very basic game mechanic, death penality. I keep seeing post people want to remove it, they don't get why a death penality exist, they don't understand that simple mechanic.

It's one of the simpliest mechanic, created in video games. Go back to the firs Mario bros game. Why does it exist? In just a few words, to push us to become better at the game it force us to come back. Or else people would just rush in game, stay bad at it, kill the boss while dying a billions of time. And then stop playing the game.

Now this is a very simple example, but things like that there are many of these. And some people, just like you said, you just try to explain to them, or point out the fail in their logic and they refuse to accept it.
