We need a USABLE alchemy recipe

The beginners may "need" alchemy for any reasons (however it unreasonable is).

A convenient recipe for alchemy would be good and chance orb would not lose much.

You're using the word "need" incorrectly. I think you meant to use the word "want." That being said, changing the chance orb recipe to alchemy would probably be fine balance wise but it would be a waste of developer time.

If it's unreasonable, then it's not a need I'm afraid.

And I please keep the 5 chances recipe as it is, Ive been using this one since the earliest lvl, it's a very useful one.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

Honestly Essences fill that gap pretty decently. They are common and they work like an Alc orb with one fixed mod. I use them all the time instead of Alc orbs, because exspecially T1-T2 Essences early on are hardly worth upgrading anyway.

There are usage for alchemy other than just use on a wearable item (which essences are for).

I also think that recipe is REALLY useful.

So I suggested to change only one other recipe: the full set of unidentified rares below itemlevel 60.

What usages? If you're wasting alc orbs on strongboxes at low levels, you're wasting alc orbs. You should be rolling boxes as magic so you can get beneficial mods like +items.

Wisdom scrolls are not hard to get when starting. Vendor unidentified items and end up with transmute orbs. Vendor 1 transmute orb and get 4 wisdom scrolls. If you're using wisdom scrolls on blue items early on, you're just wasting them.

Honestly, low level essences more than compensate for an easy alc orb recipe. They are common enough that you can make yellow gear whenever you've outgrown what you're wearing. And they are much more predictable since you know one of the mods ahead of time instead of just getting pure garbage from an alchemy orb.

Edit: You should probably be identiying rare rings and amulets if you are in need of gear. What would be the reason to not identify 9 or 10 pieces of gear to use an unidentified recipe to get an alchemy orb so you can make a single rare item? What you make with an alchemy isn't going to be any better than the items you're leaving unidentified. The mods are based on item level.

Thanks for your suggestions about efficient currency usage on low levels. I really appreciate it.
Not just for me but anybody who can read it.

OK. What is with the prices of uniques and other items on trade? I played Legacy a little bit and so
many items was priced in alchemy. I think this is a very good reason why anybody needs alchemy.

Of course you can trade for it, but even better if you have a good recipe.
Lol, people price things in alchemy because the item isn't worth a chaos orb. You won't see many higher tier asking prices of 300 alchemy orbs instead of equivalent in chaos orbs. You can make an offer of a couple fusings and they'll usually accept that instead of an alchemy.

You can check the rates and just propose an equivalent in chance/alts or others often.
The most standard currency used for trading is chaos, usually.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
Actually Alterations are usually better if you want to trade, just give them a bunch of those instead of the Alc, they just have to list a price and fuses or alcs are just the next lower value.

Also I think the argument that was first made was about SSF and this kinda conflicts with trading. And Alchemy Orbs aren't even too rare, you should find one or two in the first Act already and there isn't really a use for them.

Of course, chaos is easy to get because:
It has a very GOOD recipe.

So alchemy need a good recipe too.
