You need to make Legacy League better because its already so boring

Well to be honest, this is still the very beginning of the league. Most of the players are just barely getting to maps at this point, and I know a lot of them came back only recently because of all the crashes at the beginning of the league.
Soo... give it a couple of weeks for everyone to get to maps and see how lackluster it is. |

The league has about 20-40 hours of fun and then it's totally unfun when you realize the fun was the blue maps and you don't get any.
Also the more you hear about how fucking rare the keys are and then once you do get a key you will 99.9% of the time get a WORSE item that glitters... It's demoralizing. It's not a good gamble/game. it's purely over-tuned demoralizing. I think people who claim everything is fine and like it when we don't get reward, believe we on the other side want little coins clicking above our head every 2 seconds to reward us like Mario Brothers game. But it's not like that. We are ALL gamblers/gamers, and we want to have SOME FUCKING CHANCE TO WIN and FEEL LIKE we have a way to "GAME" the system, to produce BETTER ODDS ON A REGULAR BASIS (blue stones) CHRIS WILSON FROM GGG is afraid we will "BURN OUT" if we get too much reward too soon in the league. Well Chris, if you're listening... we are burning out because you aren't OBEYING GAME THEORY. GAME THEORY IS REAL CHRIS, PLEASE LOOK IT UP AND IMPLEMENT IT. SHIT WORKS TO KEEP PEOPLE ON THE HOOK. You are going off the FAR SIDE of game theory that will lose gamer interest and participation. CHRIS, what you want is that sweet spot where the gamers are ON THE HOOK all season! WE KNOW THIS... and Chris, WE WANT THIS... That's what we're TRYING TO REPORT BACK TO YOU. Not EVERYONE Is going to be ABLE TO cognize this problem and spit back solutions to you. Not everyone is aware of ANYTHING why they KEEP PLAYING a game... but some of us are... and we're asking you to dramatically increase the reward and the "BIG BANG" reward as well. White leaguestones are sort of bland and vanilla on their own, but if we're being fair so are most of the league mechanics they were made to showcase. They might have seemed novel and new when they came out but now they're meh. Some of them weren't even that more plentiful than the white leaguestones give us. I'm not upset by these, but I'm not thrilled by them either. I use them while mapping to add a little variety, keep me awake, and eke a little more XP out of things. Perandus/Nemesis/Bloodlines is my preferred trio for generic mapping - Not too much danger but I slowly build up coins and have better chances to get nice items from the increase in magic and rare mobs (and the momentary thrill when a unique leather belt drops with a Nemesis stone active). Plus I won't miss Cadiro since I'm clearing maps anyway.
Blue leaguestones, though? I wish I had more because those things are amazing. One of my best Path of Exile moments came when running a Shaped Beach map with some unpleasant mods on it and three blue stones socketed for Beyond, Breach, and I think Onslaught. I am still not sure how I survived fighting Bameth AND Na'em at the same time plus the entire Swarming Tul breach, dodging every direction and trying to find the one spot that wouldn't result in me exploding instantly from the sheer amount of powerful things trying to kill me, on a Life-based summoner with ~4500 life and MoM on a map with no life and mana regeneration. None of my 20K+ HP zombies made it, and neither did my even tougher golem, but I did and my screen was covered in loot. In that moment I felt a true sense of pride and accomplishment I don't get many other places. And I love it. I am now hoarding blue leaguestones to make these sorts of combinations just to do that again. |

Thing is, I don't think this was ever meant to be a league. Originally 3.0 was supposed to start earlier and I think Leaguestones were meant to replace Zana. And for this they are really nice as a league they are a bit odd, but the thing is this is propably the best way to test them and make fixes for 3.0.

Agree with OP. Keys should drop so much more often to even legitimize the league trailer. Haven't dropped one yet and it's been nine days!

League is definitely a let down from what it could/should be. I echo all of OP's sentiments. I was off all week and played my ass off. Would type everything but honestly it would basically be verbatim what OP said.

I tough we can choose which leagues we want to play, but instead of it we have to gather stones, than combine it etc. We have to create content to play and that is pretty lame, in fact there is no goal in this league as relic drops everywhere. I wouldnt be surprised if this bull**** make it into 3.0.

Remove white leaguestones.
Magic leaguetones have 1 - 2 mods, make them common like white leaguestones. Implement rare leaguestones with 3 - 4 mods, make then have the same rarity as magic leaguestones. Maybe rarer. Rare leaguestones works as a steppigstone for ppl who are disappointed in the fact that they cant find relic keys. I have found 2 relic keys and the uniques was lets say not so great. |
