Constant Disconnect

Guys this is a classic case of ports being blocked or data being transmitted by the game throttled by the ISP. I am also from Dubai and a network engineer. A similar problem happened with another game I usually play and called the ISP to unblock ports which was used by the game client as it was effecting many others and it was immediately done. Do we know the ports which need to be unblocked to make the game function correctly? Can someone from GGG provide the port numbers used by the game client?

Somewhere in the stickies should be a list of ports. If not, email GGG and ask at techsupport@grindinggear.com.
Threads like this, with 8 pages worth of different people get little to no attention, mainly because people are asked to do exactly the opposite..one person per post, so people can get helped more efficiently. Im from UAE dubai i tried calling etisalat to unblock the ports like you said but they refused this request and refused to give me a reason , im concluding tho they might think path of exile is some porn website or something idk ... its kinda sickening cant wait to leave back home soon

I live in Dubai, same issues.
So, I have been in contact with GGG, and as per them, it is ISP. And guess what, my connection is with Etisalat. I want to know if anyone from here has DU as their ISP, cause I have not seen anyone complaining about DU. I have contacted Etisalat, they are not as prompt as GGG. I have sent Etisalat an email with the servers, and I am currently waiting for GGG to provide me the ports required to flawlessly access this game as well... Any updates from anyone? |

Same issues, still haven't heard anyone from Etisalat doing anything about this.

Ok ladies so here we go!
I was having the same problem with Etisalat after I tried different locations like Dubai, Ajman, Sharjah etc... and different packages as well ( I thought it might be not enough band ) After struggling a lot, even if I contacted Etisalat support center as well (without any result), I think I finally found the problem. So follow this steps and it should be fine! Step 1: Connect to your router page (I guess it`s standard for all of us ) http://192.168.1.1 Step 2: After login, choose the ADVANCE MODE Step 3: In the left side press the FIREWALL tab and after that PORT FORWARDING Step 4: Make the current setup Thick "Enable Port Forwarding" IP Address: 192.168.1.101 (This IP address is your computer`s static IP address. Make sure you always have the same LAN IP address. If you have more devices make sure that you add all IP addresses) Port Range: 6112 - 6112 (Here are 2 boxes, so fill both boxes with the same port. Additional ports used by POE are 12995 and 20481. Make sure you add all 3 ports) Comment : POE (Here add whatever you want, because it doesn`t matter) APPLY CHANGES to save all of the above Step 5: ENJOY THE GAME EXILE! I tried a single map and a party map and I didn`t get Disconnect like I used to get. I keep my game in background and still in the game! If you have any questions don`t hesitate to contact me!
