XBox affects PC version, no doubt there anymore

yes of course. controllers directional target love them some BFlurry. PCs (mouse) is a precision pointing device. You'll never see a skill like lightning warp again thanks to xboned.

I wont be surprised if they have auto targeting for namelocks by time it drops.

Consolidation ALWAYS fucks up games simply cuz controller is weaker than mouse. I bet we have scrolling menus and shit by time it's all over.

First I thought , "oh how convenient for consoles", but now I think changes to AoE scaling are for all those builds using Inc aoe gem, especially melee builds, so that instead they use melee splash gem more.

Instead of dimnishing returns on Inc AoE, I'd rather have them halve the current numbers of all AoE related stats, so that efficiency remains the same and AoE is still reduced in line what the developers wanted. That way, we could still make those builds that AoE whole screen with some effort.

I can't imagine why you would spend time creating a console version of this game. It just isn't the kind of game that people play on console. It simply is not casual enough. Though most games that aren't can be (you're free to spend as little time as you want or not delve into the more complex features of the game) but the truth of the matter is (proven time and time again) that when features exist that people can simply ignore they'll still complain about them being too complex to handle. A great case of this is World of Warcraft where people don't have to run these 10-20 man raids, but they sure complained that they weren't able to, ruining the fun for those who could when those features were removed to make them feel better.

We'll see. I'm not going to state one way or another what I believe will happen with POE. I just know for a fact what has occurred time and time again in these situations and no one can refute that they have occurred. All you can do is have faith in developers to keep doing what they do as they have done it and not cater to this new crowd they are bringing in. Or do us all a favor and make sure that PC and Console versions are very separate and nothing is changed on PC for Console.

All that said though, I think most at least of us can agree that chat can be toxic enough as it is and we don't want them there too. The few times I've subjected myself to voice chat on a console (rare) or a game that allowed both PC and Console to play and communicate together, it was an experience I don't care to repeat. Far worse even than toxic communities such as League of Legends.

Fair enough. Im thinking beyond xbone. Thats just wishful thinking since im a hopeless playstation faithful.

I do think trying to take d3 on as an actoon game would be a big mistake. Not that there won't be a tonne of comparisons anyway.

I believe when GGG say the development of one wont affect the other, they're specifically meaning factors like delayed deployment of patches and significant system changes that may not work as well on pc. Controller support, for example.

I got PS4 at launch but after they broke so many promises (backward compatability, etc etc) and literally crusaded against xbox for many futures XBOX ended up doing before PS4. I also think the exclusives are better on Xbox, so after 2 years I dumped my PS4 for Xbox, ofcouse it was too late to port over my 300+$ Smite Skins since I missed the deadline and then they announced Smite was coming to PS4. ( I cant win ) this is why I don't play Smite now lol.

Anyway, I'm all for PoE becoming smoother a good chunk of the skills feel really chunky
