Making a unique now costs $2500, up from $1000

At $1000 they had too much to handle, and too many uniques were added to make them feel special. Maybe with less applicants they can do a little bit better with the "special" feeling.

Not surprised. GGG must fund the Xbox One PoE project to the dismay of all PC players.
I have a perfectly good PC. Why would I throw money away on an Xbox and play PoE without a keyboard. The obvious answer is I wouldn't and millions of PC players would agree. "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."

If this is true, that's a shame. Even knowing about the backlog, I've been considering buying the old 1,000 USD unique pack for years now. It's always been hard for me to justify dropping so much in one sitting on something like that, though. Moving the price up to 2,500 moves it from "one day" to "never" for me.
Guess I'll stop theory crafting those unique item proposals. Bring back race seasons.

As I said, outsource to India. Poor bastards manufacture and sell brand new cars at the price of 1.5-2 ggg uniques. A real product, manufactured by real materials, shaped and assembled by expensive machines with the help of human power. Not a bunch of pixels. At a price of 2.5K USD a whole team of indian designers will make at least 50-60 top quality virtual items. With passion and dedication. Then profit. GGG why are you sleeping...
