In theory Pendulum increases curses AOE every 5 seconds, so it maximizes curse effect on boss as you can kite farther and make sure Ele Weak still hits boss. But its not like Pendulum or Calamity are very good nodes, but the small nodes give ele res and attack speed which is nice for Shield Sharge.

I'm not sure if Innervate really mattes. With Desolation phase you shock always anyway and with ignite / chill phase the damage is too low to shock even with innervate increasing chance to shock.

I will be checking how the tests with other players are going with it.

I had a search through the thread and I couldn't seem to find any mention of using Vis Mortis instead of SotL.

My idea would be using:

Flame golem in a helmet with +2 socketed minion gem & + minion damage support gem
Spectres in 6L Vis Mortis

Would 4 TVs (with 21/20 gems) + 4 Level 23 golems be more effective in T16+ than the original spec of 3 TVs + 4 Level 28 golems?

If you can find helmet with :
- +2-3 minion levels
- Minion damage support
- Cond Effect support

You can place Golems there and it will replace Sotl. Sotl is just much, much more easier to get than similar helmet with trading or crafting.

If you place Golems in helmet, you can use any Armor with Specters you want to. Vis Mortis is great option DPS vise, but other options include Shavs, Any rare with tons of ES & res, etc.

Greetings, quick question.
I read the first posts regarding ascendancies and I can't make my mind.

What would be the "best" (I know this is a terrible word) ascendancy just for fast mapping, mostly in low tiers (t6-t10)?
All I care about is clear speed, I don't need it for progression. Just t6-t10 maps, nothing else.

I already have a character that can clear all the content (very slow mapper), I just want the Golemancer to be an alternative character for fast mapping.

I can invest 3-4ex on it.

TL;DR: What's the "best" ascendancy JUST for t6-t10 speed map clearing?

On a budget like that, definitely necro. You can get a dirt cheap "6l" minion helm for <5c (http://poe.trade/search/ahitakanitotas), slot it with Raise Spectre+Greater Multiple Projectile+Elemental Focus+Spell Echo, and use it to raise Solar Guards. A 400+ ES 6l chest is going to run you around 40c, and then you're looking at another 2ex for your jewels. Bones of Ullr and Victario's Charity are <1c each, 30+/30+/30+ res gloves are <5c, two-stone rings with +30% chaos res are like 1alc each, 30+/30+/30+ belt with life is ~1c, clayshaper is <1c, and a high stat + res neck is <1c.

Thing is, you'd get faster clear speeds in yellow shitmaps out of nearly any other cs focused 'league starter' build for a much smaller investment. But if you want to run yellows as a "low budget" minion build, the above will get you there.

Yep, for total clear speed I would go either Necro or Elementalist using Solar Guard Specters :

Necro :
- You need 6l helmet with minion damage and conc effect support like "Synx88" mentioned
- Bones of Ullr to raise Spec number to 3x
- Soul Weaver to raise Spec damage

With Golems you end with 7x projectile based minions with charges

Elementalist :
- You need 6l helmet with minion damage and conc effect support like "Synx88" mentioned
- Bones of Ullr to raise Spec number to 3x
- Summon only Flame Golems

With Golems you end with 9x projectile based minions with charges

More projectiles mean more clear speed as both Golems and Specs damage is already very high. If you can change Sotl to 6 link Vis Mortis you an increase number of projectile based minions with charges to 8-10x. I would run Charity with Necromantic Aegis is both cases as the charges make minion clear much faster than just 1x extra minion and no charges.

Maybe equip Animate Guardian with "Victario's Flight" boots for mini-haste?

I thought 3ex would be "expensive" already, but it seems that the sky is the limit for the price to get this character going.
My (cookie cutter) RF made 157/157 with a 5ex budget.

And Synx88, based on what you said, I researched more and the point you brought about cost x clearspeed is very true. Sadly, it's somewhat discouraging and made me think twice into investing time into this build, seems like it will get expensive to get insane clear speed.

All I have atm is a lvl21 flame golem gem, should be the starter.
Oh well, I guess Necro it is then, I guess elementalist would be the best choice with insane investment!! Nevertheless, sounds like incredibly fun to play, first time with a summoner!

I wouldn't get too discouraged, just keep your expectations realistic.

If you find that you really enjoy the summoner playstyle, it's not going to matter if the initial investment to get going was higher, since mapping with a build you enjoy is always going to be far more tolerable than with a build you dislike that maps a bit faster.

What about those minion taunt abyssal jewels? Would that help solve agro?

Thinking about going this route to give my spectres 6L chest and putting helm to golems. What is best combo for helm if I just have minion damage, minion life. What 4 sockets would you recommend?

So a question I can't seem to find the answer to. For the 6 flame golem elementalist, is there a point for all the Primordial Harmonies, or is that only relevant for the 4+1+1?

When I had golems in an elder helmet, I socketed: Golem, GMP, Ele focus, Echo.
I swapped GMP for slower proj in boss fights.
