Because that boss's regen, and Salazzang's recovery, can be countered reliably. OTOH, Voll still can sometimes regen a good chunk of his hp even if you constantly kite him.

Voll is mechanical? you can say anything is mechanical.

doesn't change one bit about the topic or the point - I fucking hate boss regen.
and the reason I put Voll as an example is because he is tanky as fuck to begin with, so regen on him - what seems to be a ridiculous dozen k per second - is that much more painful for a player like myself.

You don't need crazy amount of dps, but with all the recent powercreep, reaching a bare minimum should not be that difficult.


But I agree that cheezy milions+ dps builds that make GGG eventually increase HP of the monsters isa big "fu" to a big part of the community, and it's really not good.
But I never notice that much of a regeneration on him, I know that sometimes he does regenerate, but it hasn't bothered me much, I don't have a crawy high dps build tho ( unbuff tool tip is 6k, it's poison based so with wither totem is get much higher but still ).

Try it with more life and enfeelbe / temp chain and you'll see.
My first corrupted Crema in Atlas had a tormented spirit on the boss ... I had to give it up at some point because on top of being dangerous, it could not get the boss down to 50~40%.

enter boss room, kill a blue pack, click levers, slay the boss. or just clay him without the levers if your dps is high enough. very well made boss mechanic. sadly uber-dps we currently have makes it irrelevant

You know perfectly well that between the time when you know where the boss is, move and activate the lever, the boss can regenerate a significant amount of life.

For really low dps builds with some hard rolled Crematorium, it's something that can make the fight last much, much longer.

Or as my previous example : hard rolled + possessed, potentially cutting your dps even more.

I have actually never tried, I assumed that there was a timer disallowing it, but if you spend your time running to do this .... how much of your time do you actually spend for dps ?

The levers aren't that far apart lmao

I did beat Crematorium. blue. the fight was torture...
for starters I had to switch from my Melee to Caster Witch because he was getting 1-shot with 76% Fire Res (Life Build OP), then switch again to Ranger who has the highest single-target DPS of all my chars (Frenzy).

Voll had 40% ele res from the map mod, vs. the Caster (Arc) - so around 15% with the curse applied?

fuck regen.
