pvp in pve game is and always will be a joke. poe is a brag fest in high end pvp with entry barier measured in exalts not skill. so maybe kindly keep this content out of pve discussion?
as for the topic. this is l2p issue. when you understand how this life regen works (hint, it is NOT 100% uptime regen) youll never mind again voll from wastelands is fairly interesting boss, however very trivial to cheeze with ranged (just like 99% of the content..) |

" Or, perhaps, you could start exorcising your brain and THINK for a change.. Just because you PvE mainly doesn't mean that I do or anyone else. I'm here solely for the pvp, I started playing with the hopes of PoE developing better pvp balance; and, broke through whatever barriers you think you know of just fine. So, maybe, keep the topic segregation to a minimum; seeing as how YOU aren't the only one playing this game. IFTTT

- dps him down and fuck the regen
- use frostbomb if dps limit is not reached - move him off the holly ground All valid options? Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

it is a funny situation with pvp here:
it is gear and wealth gated. yet people that play it want others to join, despite the new players (not wealthy) enough have ZERO chances to compete the only way to turn it into serious pvp environment is to remove the gear gap - but this would remove the reason most pvp players want to play currently: rotflstomping noobs that have no chance would you play pvp when two players have IDENTICAL gear? i doubt it. pvp in pve games is all about noob stomping and griefing on people who had no chance when clicking 'join'. pvp in games with 99.9% pve population ALWAYS turns the same. why ggg tried to change that wasting entire patch for it - i do not know. but it is a very simple psychology thing. it is easy to be 'good' at something noone else cares about.. |

tl;dr play pvp games for pvp.
=) Like i do...not wasting my time on that in PoE, ain't nobody got time for that. Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

Does he even have natural life regen? Kiting him off the consecrated ground has always allowed me to kill him.

sidtherat and Boem - I guess you didn´t play much pvp in arpg games right? Equip is important so does in PvE but it´s not all about.
About PvP in PoE - well the main problem is imbalanced PvE gme that affects PvP too but with a bit of effort it might change and attract more people. PvP as one kind of the endgame would keep players to stay here longer bcos more choices are always good. |

Frost Bomb is a cool idea. didn't think of that.
this map is lost, but I'll try the Frost Bomb in the next Wasteland I'll (hopefully) get. the point is Kiting him is useless with that high Regen of his. I stop attacking to dodge something - and there he is back on full life... my characters aren't DPS nukes to say the least - so I'm used to kiting and wearing down strong bosses, where someone else just blows them up and says "boss mechanics? what boss mechanics?". the rant in OP is about the general idea of bosses having regen. Voll's fuckton of regen is an extreme example, but regen on a boss as a whole is terrible "DPS or get the fuck out" design, in my opinion.
