Is the new Solo Self Found option setup to fail?

I found like 90 regrets leveling to 93. could respect whole toon almost. Don't think those are a problem.
The real problem with keeping drops "as is" will be everyone playing 1 or 2 builds that need no specific gear and are very powerful. Like Pizza blast totems. Will be pretty lame. Your second toon after saving up drops may allow you to dictate a more unique build. Doesnt everyone solo? And even if they don't idea of SSF is no advantage. party is an advantage in defenses, offense and drops. I think it will be really popular at the end of the day. Git R Dun! " I found 7. But I still think 7 regrets + respec points should be enough. Your choices SHOULD matter in an ARPG. That's where D3 failed the most. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

As a guy who plays like mostly solo self found already since the start of the close beta till now, I like this change.
For every other, I highly recommend you guys to try it. I mean, you can start in SSF new league, and try to play by yourself, I promise you the sensation is rewarding, most in hardcore. But in standard is fine too. If you reach a point when you need you cant improve or progress to better maps, you can change to the normal league and continue playing. Same if you cant even reach merciless or whatever. I think you should give it, at least, a try, even if you think you wont enjoy it. Maybe you will discover another PoE and you ended up liking it, who knows. I got a friend in diablo2 many many years ago, that played this way. I never did. He said me to me to try it, and I highly doubted it. However I tried one time, and for god shake, I ended up making all classes and finishing the game in hardcore this way, not even muling myself from the drop from other characters, just what was drop from him. It was amazing. IGN: Gonorreitor Last edited by Valmar#3550 on Jan 24, 2017, 5:31:58 PM

I agree that a there should be a SSF option and a Self-found option (party enable, can only party with people with self-found option)
personally i wouldnt play in party since performances are so terrible but not because im not interested in something that ill advocate against other people's fun ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it

" So 1 chaos per T1-3 essence? You must find 20x the amount I find to even imagine that making up the difference. We fight to delay the end because it's the means that matter.

SFL might pull me back in despite my profound hate for the lab.

" Actually, they are mutually exclusive. Unless GGG implements bind on account (which they've said they won't), partying would enable trading. People would just "drop-trade" the way they did in D2. So, nope. SSF is a big challenge and is fine as planned. May your maps be bountiful, exile

" Actually no: RNG will have a much higher influence than now, because you need the good stuff to drop for you. So while it may be technically fair (everyone has the same chance), somebody who finds a great drop early will be at a huge advantage. And all without working for it any harder than all the people still grinding with mediocre gear. That said, I like the idea of a SSF league. May your maps be bountiful, exile

The issue of playing self found in parties seems like a moot point to me. Nothing is stopping you from doing that now...
U MAD?

I hope they leave everything the same in SSFL. A lot of folks are about to have their feelings hurt.
