After taking estrogen for three months!
" Nice. Hopefully the time goes by quickly for you; I realize it may seem slower since you've probably been waiting for this for some time. It will be nice to get that official recognition, though. Congratulations. Bring back race seasons.

" Wooow you can actually relate how we transgenders exactly feel. Your EQ must be pretty high. |
|
" Congrats gurl! Sounds awesome. :) Cant wait for my name change. I hope i can change my last name as well.^^ |
|
" Woooow name change actually costs a lot of money here in USA. I am unsure about your case. |

" I spent a lot of time on forums dealing with sexuality in the past trying to figure out what I am and if I'm "broken" before I came across the term asexuality. I must confess, I don't think I'll ever fully appreciate the trouble transgenders go through, but I can understand the struggle of self-discovery and then getting others to recognize you for it. Like I mentioned earlier in the thread; I've only shared my sexuality (or lack of it?) with close friends and family who I know are already cool with homosexuality. I'm too concerned many people will just see me as "gay" when I tell them. Which is missing the point. I don't know how it was with your transition, but I imagine you faced the same problem. People telling you that you weren't a girl, and asking why "being gay" wasn't enough, etc.. It will be nice when the general public see you and respond to you as a girl. I wish you the best, Deadpeng. Bring back race seasons.

<Some generic redneck insults regarding sexuality and stuff>
This is internet! We can't have nice things and people support each other! Come on guys... :< On a serious note, I find it appealing that there are some serious confessions here, on PoE forums. Feels like even tho there are lot of arguing and disagreement among different players, people still feel kind of good here. I sure do. And I'm glad you do too. :) Cheers and gratz Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.
Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge. | |

I greatly admire your courage in transitioning, but also for being so publicly open about it in these forums. You obviously know these forums can get very toxic at times and I think your willingness to discuss this very personal matter openly can only lead to better understanding by others who are less knowledgeable.
I'm also pleased to see so many other mature people willing to discuss this topic and offer great encouragement and support. Maybe humanity is not so bad after all :) Don't let the turkeys get you down! |

Cool, just one more league to go!
Hope it doesn't feel so long/hard with a reachable goal in sight! :) |
