[3.1] SRS LL Auramancer in-depth guide

I noticed that my Blasphemy auras were not being registered as Auras through Commander of Darkness, so I did some digging. The wiki specifies it clearly : "non-curse auras".

But actually, neither are Generosity auras.
In fact, the wording of the talent is quite controversial. It should be read as :
"Auras you Cast and which you benefit from, grant you...".

Hey. Your character tab is set to private, so I can't take a look at your character.

You have to link the Item Rarity gem for its effect to apply for your SRS.

Congratulations to the 21/20 on the first try (it took me about 30 tries =\ ) and finally getting good colours on the bow =) How do you experience the bow vs the 1h&shield?

If you're still in the business of looking for gear upgrades. I'd recommend 2x Ventor's Gambles and a pair of ES gloves with 25%+ rarity (you can get 32% IIR on rare ES gloves), and losing 18% IIR would be worth gaining the additional ES. And then you ofc have Presence of Chayula, which should add 1k+ ES for you.

Curses linked with Blasphemy are still curses, so if you want to boost them it's only possible through the curse nodes, quality blasphemy, and possibly some gear. And even if they were counted as an aura, you would not be affected by the curses yourself and thus not benefit from CoD eitherway.

I agree on that they should change the wording of CoD, but I have mentioned that you'll not get the "full benefit" from CoD yourself in the guide. Not that it really matters as we're mainly intressed in buffing our minions, and we already have a good amount of as/cs :)

O well could you take a glance? And I am pretty poor now lol I managed to get a 6L shavronnes wrappings and a united in dream so that killed my funds pretty much, but I'd like to know what you think my next biggest upgrade would be. I'm trying to follow the MF build.

An easy and cheap thing that you should do is to buy a 20/20 SRS gem. It'll improve your damage and clear speed by quite a bit.

Then I'd probably aim for a Screaming Essence of Loathing crafted ilvl 84 Hubris Circlet with an enchantment. The 150% Golem Effectiveness is my favourite, but it is not as important for the MF setup as for the DMG setups.

After the helmet I'd either go for a 500+ ES shield, or the Presence of Chayula. The upgraded Chayula Amulet should give you about 1000-1500 ES, so you've a lot to get there :)

Oh man thanks again! I was wondering why my ES was so low. That amulet will help a ton. And I'm leveling 6 extra SRS's but it seems like its gonna be pretty expensive to get the all the 20%quality and then vaal them


Also how do I search poe.trade for that helmet with the Loathing essence used to craft it? Or is there not an easy way to do that?

When you get your 6 extra SRS gems to level 20, you should vendor them together with a GCP (or 6 GCP if you vendor all 6 at once) to turn them into quality 20 level 1 gems. You'll have to level them up to 20 again before you vaal them then, but at least you don't need to spend 20 GCP per gem for that. Just buy a 20/20 SRS gems meanwhile, they should only cost around 5-10c.

I would recommend you to craft your own helmet. Look at the Tips and Tricks chapter for info on how to do it. But if you insist of buying one, just add "reduced mana reserved" to the search term along with resists, rarity, etc.

Well I feel like a boob now. Never crafted a bow before and didn't think to check poeaffix until after spamming 200 alts and seeing +2 bow gems multiple times, but never +2 fire gems. Now I know that it can only be got from essence crafting. Doh!

That explains why I never thought about using a +3 fire bow before the Essence league, they didn't exist :D It was always a choice between 1h&shield vs +3 staff before that, and staves are not fun to use imo :(

Sweet, I actually found a level 23 gem 20% quality for 3 chaos! Idk if that bodes well for when i want to sell mine though lol
