I mean on the one hand, two months is a long time and I could probably really enjoy the build in that time. But on the other hand, it's a lot of currency to drop if GGG is just going to pull a GGG and destroy howa into the dirt.

Typically, there is a new league with some new content every 3 months. The current league will end May 29th, which is 2 weeks away. Can you have a good time playing this build over the next 2 weeks? Sure! In 2 weeks, you could be slaying Shaper easily.

There is a good chance that shortly after this league ends, another will start. Whether this will be 3.0 remains to be seen, but I wouldn't want to count on it. I expect the next league to start June 2, run through Aug, and be running 2.8, with 3.0 following in late Aug / early Sept.

Will this build be playable in the next league? We really don't know. Honestly, we were expecting it to be nerfed into oblivion THIS league.

There is actually NO chance that shortly after this league ends another will start. GGG has no time to make anything because they're busy with 3.0. If anything Legacy shows exactly that. Absolutely no new content but a repetition of old stuff to give GGG time to work on 3.0.

When will the Beta start?
It's still a month away. Our current target date is Wednesday, June 7 US time. While we believe that we will be able to hit this date, small adjustments of a few days may occur forwards or backwards.

For clarification, the Legacy league will end on Monday May 29 (Pacific Time), the week beforehand.

What happens on the main realm once Legacy ends and while the Beta is ongoing?
We're going to run events! So many events. It's a great opportunity to try out leagues and races of different variations without disturbing an active challenge league. We'll likely solicit suggestions from players over the coming weeks.

How long is the Beta likely to run for?
As long as is needed, but we expect 5-6 weeks.

It seems GGG has decided to extend Legacy until the beta finishes. So that's another 2 months of legacy.

It was previously planned that the Legacy Leagues would end on May 29th US time. However, due to popular demand we've decided to extend the Legacy Leagues to continue to run alongside the beta and end when The Fall of Oriath launches.

I'm a bit disappointed that there won't be a mini-league before 3.0. I very much enjoyed some of the mini-leagues (especially Darkshrine). Legacy is too similar to standard for my taste.

After you hit this, you'll need to have ES gear and a bunch of refund points, so you can switch from life based to CI based. When you get your ES gear and 88 points to spend, you respec to this tree:

You need accuracy rating in a big way. The easiest way to do that is with a set of Shaper's Touch gloves... but it's going to be challenging to balance resists with that helm.

Both your rings could benefit from better Elemental Damage and INT rolls.

I'd replace the Saphire flask with The Wise Oak, and juggle your resists so that lightning is your highest. That will give you a resist boost plus the benefit of the extra lightning damage.

For the gems in the helm, I'm using lightning golem for extra damage, flame dash for convenient movement when whilrling blades gets hung up, and Ancestral Protector for some extra damage boost in the way of extra attack speed.

Try to upgrade your claws, at least get 12% INT ones.

Edit: Can't check your jewels unless you mark your characters as public.

Edit2: Your tree is pretty damn nice. You'll want to do some respeccing eventually, I'm pretty sure it's more efficient to use the middle path on the lower right so you can get into Forces of Nature easier. You can drop the INT node just to the left of Vaal Pact at the time. Elemental overload will help a lot once your accuracy rating creeps up above 90% as well.
