[2.5 Video Guide] Assassin CI Blade Flurry End-Game Build! [HC/SC]

Farming uber labs for a specific enchantment is a bad idea. It could take you weeks to get what you want. It'd be a better use of time to farm up the currency and buy a helmet with the enchant already on it and craft it afterwards since you'd also be leveling and building a map pool. I did uber labs for the challenges during Ascendancy and vowed never to run them for enchantments ever again. It was hard enough getting just 1 of each category of helmet enchant let alone a specific one you want. There's 380 helmet enchants in uber labs. Two of those enchants are useful Blade Flurry. Maybe 3-4 more enchants are useful at all for this build. Contrast that with 15 boot enchants and 3-4 of those are useful on most characters. Farming labs for boot enchants is fine but a huge waste of time for helmet ones.

I needed the challenge anyway, and 1 lab run took me under 4 min so not a big deal.
Hey guys, I switched to double Scourge version and I feel like it's much stronger than the Bino's one. How can I improve my gear now? What am I missing?

Like I said, you probably should post in those threads for advice. What stands out most is that you don't have a curse. You have two options to get it. (1) Use Witchfire's Brew and keep using Hatred or (2) use Blasphemy Vulnerability with Taste of Hate/Dying Sun/Sin's Rebirth/etc. I prefer the Blasphemy option as it's more reliable, reserves less mana, and lets you run a quality Vulnerability. I recommend putting Fortify on your whirling blades and replacing inc crit strikes on your orb of storms with Blood Rage. I recommend Vaal Haste over Vaal Discipline. Your Voidheart should have over 30% poison chance.

I tried speccing over to Scourge, and while the damage was better, I felt it was more of a glass cannon build, especially without Skyforth...so I am speccing back to this. However, I think i will try Kiaras again, until I get enough currency to optimize it more.

Is there an alternative to Bino´s to boost the damage, or will dual wielding with Death´s Hand affect the damage output with nerfing the ES and survivability too much?

Scourge is way more tanky then binos with 13k ES, the leech gives you huge defense.
To solve this Character's mana problems wouldn't "Mind Drinker" be better than "deep thoughts"? Since we are leeching the mana anyways, it provides leech (saving us an affix somewhere) with minimal losses to mana.

Deep Thoughts isn't something you need at all. You only need it if you aren't wearing a Heretic's Veil. I think people skip over this part of the guide.

"
Curse and Aura Setup:

With Heretics Veil:

- Warlord's Mark, Vulnerability, Discipline and & Enlighten (level 2-3+)

Without Heretics Veil:

- Blasphemy, Warlords Mark, Herald of Ash & Discipline

To have enough mana to use Blade Flurry when all auras are activated you will need the -4% mana reservation node near CI and Deep Thoughts near the witch.

I've facetanked Chimera with added fire damage, vulnerability, temp chains, -max, etc. I've facetanked Mino, Abax. It's a little rippy but you have NO chance of doing that with the Binos dagger setup. Skyforth is completely unnecessary I'd argue it's worse than a Chayula. I have a feeling you did something wrong.

Here's some ideas that could be why it felt worse. Lifting's build uses Warlords Mark to get endurance charges which gives your Immortal Call more duration. You could have tried Warlord's Mark or Dual curse with the claws. You could have also used Enduring Cry every pack like many hardcore players do. Secondly, the Binos setup uses a shield. Maybe you could have tried more defensive flasks like Rumis, Taste of Hate, or a Granite to make up for the mitigation loss. Maybe your ES was low. My ES was 9.5k on Scourge and 11.5k with a dagger/shield. My main point is there's no way Binos beats Scourge.

As for ways to improve your damage without hurting your ES... Vaal Haste. That and ensuring your power charges stay up with PCOC.

Might have been asked before, but why no Witchfire Brew?

You can definitely use Witchfire Brew with this build. You will still need to get dual curse if you choose to use Warlord's Mark. You should also consider that a 20%q Vulnerability will outperform a Witchfire on this build.
