i can tell you a ton of reasons why your behaviour is wrong, but i wont because its not thing we are discussing here

the limit is indeed a little strange, i guess its hard coded and maybe difficult to fix

Good luck being serious if instead of developers talking with us we get Support moderating the threads.

Just how much should they give you for the ignore list? why not just turn off chat (seems like they'll all be on there anyway)

Exactly. If you are being forcefully kicked out of some community, you should not try to stay in, as people won't let you. And if they pay for being there, you can only save some money by quitting. Protect your health, m8!

I had no idea that Ignore list has limits.

On standard I put only few ppl for whole time I am playing. But in Breach I think I put at least 5 people already. All of them come and wanted to buy for example mortal set for ex and wanted me to give them 16c to make that deal real. When I refused: no ok, no good bye, only leave. Ignored at once. Another example I sold 750chromes for ex, so in hurry I only deleted 0 from poe trade from 750 for ex. And after some time guy pinged me, that he wants to by my 75 chromatics for his ex. I explained to him, that for ex he can get 700 - 800 chromatics, depends on actual market prices. And he started talking that he knows that and its my offer (it was lie of course) so he is going to sell me 75 chromes and I will give him ex. Ignored again.. I do it to make trade enjoyable and nice for buyer and seller, I want to have joy from meeting new people, few times I met/make new exile friends from a such contact, and trading overall.

I just wanted to say, again, make the ignore list bigger please. I'm sick of scammers and rude people, but also sick of not being able to mute them.

Yeah, except not really. Long-term ignoring is actually stupid and I clear my list every league. Why would I want to effectively shrink the community of a multiplayer game, a game wherein multiplayer interactions add value to my experience (e.g. trading), especially when, to begin with, it's a niche game that's not very popular compared to mainstream games?

Sure, I'm super salty when I ignore people -- who isn't?

But, when you click "Ignore" in that situation, let's admit that most of the time what people (kids-these-days) seem to think they're really clicking is "I hope this motherfucker's house burns down with them in it".

So, continuing that line of thought: either the house burned down, or it didn't, and either they were in it, or they weren't.

You keeping them on ignore list any longer than was necessary to temporarily shut them up isn't going to change things one way or the other.
