Why I support this thread/examples of people who I would put on my ignore list

example 1 that happened yesterday

player: WTB your scriptorium map 5.5c, offer 5c
me: no thanks.
player: go f*** yourself overpriced sh**

example 2

me: Hi, I would like to buy your item for 10 chaos
*no reply*
/whois player
*in lab*
me: are you doing uber lab or what?
*no reply*
/whois player
*in a different area of the lab*
------------------------------------------------
example 3

player: wtb item for chaos
*invites, they come into my hideout, then proceed to run into my map*
------------------------------------------------

By the way, let's not forget about the gold sellers in global chat or the people in trade chat that spam all of their s*** uniques for 1 exalt each.

I don't want to trade with any of these types of people, who either can't take the time out of their day to type 5 letters such as "in lab" or the other types of people that instead of flaming me, rather just moving on to the next person.

You might think to yourself, wow get over it, stop being a baby about a game.

You're partially right, but then again, I have the right to not trade with whomever I decide not to trade with. And with a limit on the ignore list and so many people out there like the examples listed above, it's impossible to not clear the ignore list due to the maximum capacity of it every few days.

Why do people care if people who want a longer ignore list get a longer ignore list. It doesnt effect you unless you are a di** in chat or are a botter. If it doesn't effect you then why are you complaining in the first place? I mean i am a Chronic Complainer, it is what I do, but this is simply not worth complaining about.

I think an ignore list should be limitless and accessible from outside the game via note-pad or something like that.

I recently also had to fully clear my list, which is annoying if you know that the people on this list are there for a reason.

Really, people who try to scam me when trading, or are otherwise toxic, find themselves on my list without second thoughts.

The ignore list was sufficient for quite a bit of time, but now that the game seems to be getting a bit more attention, it fills up kinda quick.

And really though, why judge someone who has issues with a lackluster ingame feature, that is implemented for the betterment of everybody's personal experience? Some of you people don't make a lot a sense, when you say that the person whose list is full is the problem. The more you trade, especially when selling items, the more often people will try to scam you, or discuss a different price with you. There's no reason not to ignore scammers. And people who want to pay something other than what you asked, and then become insulting and annyoing if you don't agree exist as well. Why not ignore them?

You know, if you can just let it slide, and give these people another shot at you: Good for you. But some people don't want to do that. Can we accept that as well, maybe?

i dont know why people complain about others want to improve the ignorelist function. i could make alot of assumptions of why they act like they do, but i wont.


fact is :

there is ton of legit reason without being a bad person to fill up your ignorelist.

There is more people for than against an improved ignore list

and hell yeah, there is even support for an mtx money paid improvement of this matter.



so let haters be haters, but give us the option to ignore them without have a limit to do so.

player 1 :

i open map party, a guy comes in, all good we start to kill monsters, he was a pure summoner, so he kinda created some fps drops.

i asked friendly if he could leave cuz he created lag. he didnt reply he just went on rushing to the map boss and killed it, no problem i have tons of maps.

so i ignored him. saving my self from future problems.


Player 1 :

i have a 6link 40% life belly for sale, vs cheapest price on and offline, a guy ask if he can buy it for 5 ex, and i decline.

then he startet flaming me, and telling me i was some kind of jew.

so i ignored him.
