I played POE briefly in 2013 before buying D3 which highly disappointed me. I stopped playing ARPG's for a couple of years and played other genres. For some odd reason I decided to load up POE. Took forever to re download but I have been hooked since. GGG has another fan in me and I plan on playing this game for as long as they have a server up. I also downloaded the game before it was on steam and even though I own many games on steam I still have not switched to steam and don't plan on switching to steam either.
P.S. All you casuals/No lifers who argue about content being either too hard or too easy please just stop. GGG can't balance the game around you. I am somewhere in between the casual and no lifer and GGG is doing a great job. No game is perfect and even if a game is perfect for you I gurantee it isn't for someone else. I never understand the complaint that any form of entertainment is too cyclical. People need variety. How long can somebody binge watch a tv show before they need to do something else for a while? Doesn't mean they hate the show now and will never watch it again. People do things for a while, get bored, and then do something else for a while. People take vacations from things all the time. The only difference here is that people tend to come back and leave in large groups based on the timing of new content. Like a bunch of women living together and suddenly their biological cycles start syncing up. You can tell which part of the cycle they're on by their pms rearing its ugly head.
