GGG is lying to you.

So to have a successful thread all you need is a well hidden "gaem daed" message somewhere?
Works 10/10 since release. |

Of course it is this game is boring as fuck these days and the balance team is incompetent. 4 years and a ton of support later and GGG has made every effort to push me away.

Game going strong is going strong....

Yeah...
They said it about the Cadiro league and I believed it. They said it about the Prophecy league, and I thought, "Huh. Really?" They said it yet again with the Essence league... and... I'm sorry. I just don't believe you anymore. Now I can only interpret everything they announce as just "PR." Advertising or whatever. I assume we will be told the exact same line for every league from here on out. Sad. |

The only numbers that matter are the numbers in GGG's bank account. Unless you know those, you should pretty much keep your opinions to yourself.

Perandus league was their most successful in a long time. Prophecy league was significantly worse. Atlas of Worlds had better numbers than Prophecy but still worse than Perandus.
At least that's what the Steam charts show. They might not be 100% reliable but they are a good indicator of overall trends. I also think they've been in PR bullshitting mode for a long time now. From the vocal minority with love :P You have to be realistic about these things. Logen Ninefingers Last edited by Bars#2689 on Nov 3, 2016, 7:48:48 AM

I think its because PoE is more like MMORPG game - each update makes changes so old players play a bit again. After 4 months I had nothing more to do than just to lvl up new character. I have bought around 1200 regrets and spent much more ex on gear and tried many different builds from all classes only on Witch and Ranger base - and there was almost no difference in builds or spells - at least I feel it that way. From that time I come back to see friends or to check new content, beat it and later coming to play one or two maps and going to do another things or playing another game. I think many "long-term" players have it like that. If PoE wouldnt be like other MMORPG games, there would be much less poeple here.

Come on guys, there are fewer long time players than ever.
There are more new players. The new players will be gone in 2 years and we will be left with the pitiful long-term player population. The game is in its death throes |

" So how are they affording to make content. |
