The comments on that page are outdated.

The way to calculate your true damage per second is using the following equation (at max stacks, 20):

[Sustained DPS] = [tooltip DPS] / [casts per second] * 20


Each "blade" hits once per second (regardless of your cast speed). So, if you have 20 blades up, you will do 20 hits per second (no more, no less).

so i did something wrong, when i calculated it, like this (60000)/(0.20)*20=6000000 ,says 6mill i cant find online calculator with "[ ]" only ()

my friend told me he had 100k+ tooltip, with grand jewels and i think could get even more, he said he had 8 of them, non crit version, i have near 70k with 1 void battery and es shield, and he had only 8 grand jewels or so, imagine with 10-12 es based build? i made theoretical build with 13 jewel slots that is 845 ele dmg, would propably use Physical to Lightning Support gem and such to get as much ele dmg, as you can

Oh, you don't have all the proper gear and aren't high enough level yet to get all the nodes. One day you will. (:
