[2.6/3.1] Shaper down on budget 5-link - The Debuffing Pizza (Tri-Curse CI Elementalist Flameblast)

This is really a fun build!

Since cast time and increased radius seems to be the most important stats here, i went all in.
I not have a 6 link and therefore cant leech, so i went for regen.

This brings me down to 0.1s on pizzas and they are huge. Sure, i am loosing a bit of fire damage but bigger and faster pizzas make all up for that.

I dropped Temporal chains and i am using a high lvl Clarity to solve any mana issues. Now i can wear a much better ring with high resists, cast speed etc.

Did an uber lab run and was really lucky with my glove enchantment.
"Cast commandment of flames on hit" basically kills all the mobs around me every 5 secs once i use the Orb or Lightning warp into a pack.

I went for Lightning warp since it benefits most from a high cast time build like this. Its almost instant and feels much faster than Flame dash.

any idea for upgrade? i bought all the es gears with resis to play ele weakness mode
i dont really know how to link my gear here :D

Hello,

Good stuff bro :), but i think you don't take the best weapon for this build. A scepter with elemental damage is better than spell damage (spell damage increase dps of FB, not burning damage i think) > so Doryani's with good ED is the first choice.

Something else : change your armor to have more ES. I don't think that having a one more level gem bonus is Worth compared to the huge bonus of a good ES armor. Mostly if you already play with empower max. Furthermore, that inscrease the mana cost of FB : less of mana and flexibility for damage that you don't really need.


It's a detail but increase IAoE to 20% quality to have a bonus of area damage. And enchant of course, but so boring to farm if (like me) you are not lucky ...

currently leveling this. build is fun, I can live with the fact that I'm still squishy as fuck because I am wearing leveling uniques.

however, manacost is enormous, even though I have still 2 elreon jewelery equipped. how do you handle the high mana cost in endgame? is it only the .2% leech boot enchant later on or is there something else?

i use lvl 3 enlighten, decent mana regen, mana pot, and i dont have any mana leech, its working okay, but you will use mana pot often while facing bosses

Hi, you can use a reduced mana cost gem, it's the easiest solution, but I wanted faster casting as my 6th link so I solved my mana problems with a second elreon ring. Had to drop temp chains blasphemy because of that, but it's not a big deal because the es pool is huge (have 13.7k at the moment, can get better with a chest or shield upgrade) and vaal discipline is great :D
I also use a lvl 6 clarity, can't level it further because I use Haste at the moment, but want to change it soon to another more useful aura or back to temp chains when I get a +1 curse chayula.
Some mana regen on gear helps too, which gives me a total mana regen of ~68mana/s.
It's not enough to sustain the fb channel 24/7 but it feels just right. Only time i run out of mana is in boring bossfights where i don't have to move and could cast 10stack fb all the time.
Surprisingly i can run 60% reduced mana regen maps too. No regen maps are fine if you want to use a mana flask, but i just reroll them.

Well, I think so.

Need to be calculate with a planner/calculator for sure.

How many ES have you now (without aura) ?

And just my return about this build :

Amazing, really love it. But i'm really surprise and disapointe by the différence of boss's life between one and two party player. 3 shoot minotaur solo, most dangerous and difficult with my mate. He play aurabot, of course he deal no damage, but so i have some huge bonus in ES (2k) and tooltips (with empower, CE and auras, I have 12K tooltip flameblast), and he played 2 vaal discipline ...

Lot of wipe with the shaper. In this configuration, I feel that my partner's bonuses do not compensate for the increase in shaper's life.

A big thanks for this great build which drives me for the first time to the end game. I managed to kill the Shaper for the first time on my second run, and achieve 36 challenges !

Here is my final gear and passive tree, lvl 94 :



The overflowing chalice is only for trying how it turns, but i don't feel it is really useful, i don't use that many flask charges. Maybe a simple magic Sulphur Flask would be enough ?

I picked up the notable Deep Thoughts (North North West of Witch) to have more mana regen, and my helmet enchantement (bought it) helps a lot with Clarity, which i couldn't use without it.

With more skill points i think going deeper toward Coordination (East of Shadow start) should increase a lot the burning damage.

Guardians run pretty smoothly (Phoenix is quite boring and long due to having a hard time to ignite ^^), except for the Chimera who makes me sweat at each cloud phase ^^.

The Shaper is a very manageable. The only real hard time is when adds spawn from the portal : it seems that they're immune to any status ailment because no ele prolif occur when i kill them, draining all my mana to kill them, and Zana dying often at this time (which means guaranteed death on the Shaper's pink balls of Hell xD)

I switched from Vaal Lightning Trap to Vaal Righteous fire lately, to see how it works and .... it is really dangerous ^^. You near one shot any boss with this (after procing EE and cursing) but you need to time perfectly to not cast it just before being hit.

Breach, breach domains, and breachlords were pretty easy.
