D3 or Path of exile??

I'm planning on quite likely playing this, Diablo 3 and Torchlight 2 as I really enjoy ARPGs and each of the three take there own approach to the genre. For example really curious to try out the skill system in PoE as it sounds really interesting. But I will very likely be playing all three. Honestly given the fact that PoE is free and looks really cool I don't see why anyone wouldn't give it a shot at least

Obviously path of exile. Diablo 3 doesn't have cutthroat league (where u can invade other peoples instances hunt them down kill them and they drop all the shit they were wearing). OR any way to player kill at all in hardcore mode.

Not only that but Diablo 3 will have hte pay to win auction house option and far less charactet customization and theorycrafting available.

Thats why I am not even trying to get into D3 beta and not even considering buying it.

So many fans of the original diablo 2 are going to be massively dissapointed if they havn't been following diablo 3s development.

PoE all the way.

From what i saw so far i will prob stick to PoE.

Diablo 3 will be my future in come game. Will put a farming bot on it and sell items on rmah

While i enjoy playing PoE legit way.

Which ever game has the most challenging/rewarding PvP i will play.

I will play both... they both look very interesting and I LOVE ARPG games... Diablo 2 was one of my favorite games of all time... and these games both look equally as good.

I'll propably buy Diablo 3 aswell, played D2 for hours and hours, D1 too tho not as much.

Gotta admit tho atm i'm looking for PoE just as much as D3 since personally i'm not happy about the real cash auction house or the fact you can't put in your own stats points, also the fact you can respecc isn't what i was used to in D2 :(

All that will just make cookiecutter builds which are design to maximise farming speed for certain areas that drop the most sold objects for real money, maybe i'm wrong but that's the way I see it. Basicly the generic no-money-no-honey $$$-to win

Sure company, money or team size wise you really can't compare GGG against Blizzard, but hopefully most of you can see beyond that and not diss PoE just because it isn't one of the most hype'd and advertised game of the year.

pretty hard question given that I only know vids of each game.

I'll probably end up at least playing both and then sticking to the one the majority of my friends play.
