D3 or Path of exile??

i´m very sceptical about d3.

poe looks much more like a d2 successor than d3.

i don´t know... the last blizzard games don´t please me like the older games. i loved starcraft 1 and diablo 1 & 2. but starcraft 2, diablo 3 and of course wow aren´t like the good old blizzard games.

well, i really REALLY hope D3 will be good.
i didnt expect much from PoE when i tried it first time but.... MOTHER OF GOD! its awesome! hard to find things what i would change in it. well i didnt have much time to test it in weekend and boy am i eager to play it more! now im just begging that beta key from god of random. :D

anyway, im very sure ill stick with PoE.
what comes to D3, will be seen.

As much fun as I had in PoE during the stress test I will still choose D3 as the main game to play and with PoE being free to play I can always bounce over if I want.

But yea.. D3.

I for one easily prefer Path of Exile. D3 just looks like a "pile of lazy" to me.

D3 just looks like they took the engine of WoW, studied up on what current Diablo type games are doing these days, added an overpowered cash shop that sells power and items (pay2win), and doesn't develop pvp so they can release it "early" which to me is still pretty darn late considering how long it took to develop.

I haven't tried D3, and will definitely buy it, but PoE was very very nice. I was happy with the game.

I am positivly surprised by Path of Exile.
First I thought its a piece of crap and not even compareable to D3. Though it isnt compareable, its definitly no crap ;)

There are many features in the game I consider "broken" but it does not matter because I have fun with the game. Also I like the innovation, though at the same time some aspects are not good for the longterm fun.
Things like the currency system or the Skillsockets are SOMETHING new, but I fear that it will also bring many flaws.

Personally I prefer Diablo 3 and for sure its better overall, but still PoE is a worthwhile game and those hours spent playing it are definitly not wasted.

I think Diablo 3 will offer a more consistent and better designed world but still PoE proveides a lot of above avarage gameplay.

Blizzard north did not make diablo 3 unlike the first two. Starcraft: Ghost was never released due to devolping team and other issues. I expect Diablo 3 to be less than what I expect it to be.

After being in the beta of both diablo 3 and path of exile, path of exile is the game I been longing for since diablo 2. Everything has been done for you since WoW and up pretty much. Finally a new game I can play that is much more difficult to master.

I expect to have much more enjoyable hours of game play with path of exile than I will with diablo 3. I love the story with diablo 3, have read the Sin War and other books. I feel like I owe it to blizzard to play diablo 3 and finally find out what happened after the world stone was destroyed in LOD.

I will be trying D3 of course. Being a huge Diablo fan since day one when i was just a wee boy. Personally I think taking a decade to release the follow up to the last Diablo will be its downfall. All this time waiting in anticipation for D3 has raised my expectations so high. And after seeing what PoE has done as far as innovations (Gems, leveling, Passive tree) Its going to be hard for D3 to top all that. GGG pumped out PoE in like 3 years w/ minimal funding. That shows love of the game and dedication. I cant help but feel like Blizzard took so long because they had to swim back and forth through there "Scrooge-like" vault of gold coins.

My heart is yours for the taking GGG, you are doing the gaming community a huge service by releasing this gem. Kudos
