D3 or Path of exile??
So which will you guys play? I'm pretty sure most D3 Fans are just gonna play which ever game comes out first. But which will you guys stick to?

I expect everyone on this forum to buy Diablo 3 (I'm looking forward to playing it as well), but thankfully Path of Exile is free, so they can try out both games if they'd like.
There are several other good Action RPGs coming out next year, so it's going to be really good for fans of the genre. It's exciting for us that Path of Exile will be available at a time when there are a lot of people interested in Action RPGs. It might be a little unfair to ask people which game they are likely to stick to, considering there are only four people in the world who have played both games. Lead Developer. I ....CAN NOT WAIT for Diablo3.
Blizzard really are an excellent company BUT i've got a funny feeling i will not enjoy it as much as Diablo2. I played Torchlight quite a bit actually and after a while i got a bit bored :( Its a really nice game and all but looking at D3 it has similarities to Torchlight so i dunno really. Have to wait and see. The only issue i have with PoE is the realish looking graphics! But i prefer things like Streetfighter and Killer Instinct to Mortal Kombat (3 great games tho) BUT that wont stop me playing it ;) |

" Who are these lucky people!? I'm more than a little jealous. I am a poor freezingly cold soul
So far from where I intended to go |

never understood the this or that question. unless you have some serious time limits or cant focus on more than 1 game at a time why not get both? i will play both of these as well as many other games, whatever game is more fun will get more time.
still this game will be released well before D3 imo so i doubt they will be in real compitition. well PoE will at least have a good "headstart" |

I will ofcourse try both.
And since PoE is most likely to come out much earlyer then D3, i can spend alot of money on PoE befor even thinking about D3 :) While im also a bit worried about D3 and its classes untill now, im missing that special class, something new and unique. Torchlight, ah well i tryed it, but i couldnt stand on it very long. The Art style is just horrible, the classes where pretty basic aswell. Only the Mods comming from the community could hold me a bit longer. |

" I'm tired of waiting. They took too long to start making it, they are taking too long to make it. I will buy it because I am a Diablo fan, but right now PoE has my interest. Like I stated before, I believe in what G3 is doing so much that I would pre-order some microtrans, even though I may end up hating the game. I highly doubt this though. D3 is really going to have to feel like a better version of D2 and not just an up to date ARPG to get their whole fanbase. The path of exile holds him, not at all twisted gold, a frozen spirit, not the bounty of the earth.

Both, and Torchlight 2. D3 will run out of steam first, imo. No LAN play and no MODding, unfortunately. But I'm sure Activision will press them to do an xpac a year for it or some nonsense.

Path of Exile.
It's simple as that and i'm a hardcore Diablo fan. He who fights with monsters
might take care lest he thereby become a monster. |

Both. And Torchlight 2. And Grim Dawn. And maybe Mythos.
And every game of the genre :D |
