Can somone tell me what killed me?

I was doing T9 map and i had this map boss named
Pagan Bishop of Agony So i had 8500 HP and 41% physical dmg reducation but with my armor flask it was like 70% either way i was just using EQ on him in melee range and life leeching but suddenly when the boss had left 50% HP i just died in an instant it was one shot so then i went to wiki and look up this boss and hes only abilities are Resists Lightning Immune To Curses Casts Vulnerability Casts Temporal Chains So my question is what killed me in one shot and took my 8500HP in an instant and forgot to mention in this map i didnt had any extra dmg rolled or critical multiplier or anything like that Last bumped on Jan 8, 2017, 10:20:10 PM

You got shootgunned by is spell aoe. If you are in the wrong position you can take even 4-5 hit . Considreing crit is calculated for the total spell if he crit he crit with all proj. I don't know the spell he do but if the dmg is Phys then here we go .

Now to think about it he indeed casted something above hes head it was something flashy so i probably took all the hits from it since i was in melee range to him but why there is no info about it in wiki? and this just prooves that melee suck ballzz if i were ranged i would not need to worry about anything like this so if i died instant with 8500 HP then what is the point of making another melee character i will probably end up dying in same way sooner or later

Guess il try VB build since everyone is using it and probably die same way sooner or later but oh well

If you happen to curse him he eats up the curse and converts it into elemental nova which deals 8k+ elemental damage on the low end up to around 12k. This might've been the cause of your rip.
