Banned for multi clients with manual clicking not botting

looool
sooo... if you had 3 computers, you can do THE SAME THING?? legally?

LOOL what does GGG work with like Alienware or HP or Dell or whatever??
making you buy more PCs ?

lol whats the difference??

... suppose they just assume if you have more than 2 you Gotta be sharing the clicks or whatever?
..guess its more a matter of what they can and cannot detect..

Alt tab muling is a thing. They need to keep that an option so stash tabs have a free alternative. You don't need more than 2 clients running on a computer to do that.

I don't even care if they are willing to let you open 2 clients, imo if you are running more than 1 client on 1 pc thats cheating, even if you control both manually. They say 2 is the limit, so you either used more than 2 or used a program to control clicks, like a bot, or you tried to use hacks.

thats a bit harsh , cant we have 2 in your eyes? i like having an alt to hold instances for me when i go afk
More then two clients on one computer = technically cheating, although they haven't been able to prove it.

They probably have found a way to reliably find out who is abusing multiclienting. Honestly it's not that hard to do, you'd just have to find the memory addresses for different programs that allow more then two clients to run.

I really don't get how having people act in line with the policy the game maker sets is cheating in your eyes...

I considered running an extra client to do a culling setup a while back but it was so much effort I gave up on it. The OP clearly ran more clients than he was allowed and got banned for it. If people want to run multiple clients to cull on 3 different computers running 2 instances each for a full party, power to them. With that kind of dedication they deserve the extra loot.

Pay to win! :^)
The responses in this thread are ridiculous. I almost feel like people are yelling, "burn the witch!". Unless proven explicitly, if one is capable (to any degree) of multiboxing while NOT botting, let them have at it. One can call this "cheating" all they want, but simply because one is unable to fathom or perform multiboxing is one's own personal problem and lack of ability. However, there is an idealistic argument and there is the practical/pragmatic argument. If a public policy is in place, be wary, obviously. Furthermore, until I am convinced with a proper argument for the abolition of non-bot multiboxing, I will continue to advocate a change in policy.

I think the problem is 9 out of 10 times these people bot, but will never admit it and want to get sympathy by claiming they were doing the legal thing. Tons of people do the legal thing but it's always this one random guy that gets caught. You get the same thing with 'hacked' accounts, and they blame GGG when it's 100% the fault of the user.
