Banned for multi clients with manual clicking not botting

Since forms tell people that GGG can't stop multi client'ing have to warn people of my banned issue.
Don't know which forms (forums?) you've been reading, but obviously you need to find more reliable sources for your information. It's been 2 clients with nothing automated per computer for almost as long as I can remember.

I could have swore that virtual desktops or whatever to get a full group running was allowed/ at least not bannable as long as the input was again all manual. I don't think they made an official statement on it but they would kind of ignore it as long as you were manually inputting. I could be absolutely wrong though, don't remember where I would have seen that.

There was something that Chris said a while ago that was quoted over and over about using virtual PCs to run more than 2 instances. It was something like they begrudgingly allow you to do so since they can't detect the difference--they probably figured out how to detect it.

A virtual computer is something different, well it depends on how many NICS your host has.
Iam sure running 3 virtual machines with 2 Nics and a wlan should be fine. (3 network adapters so 1 adapter per 2 clients/1 virt. machine)

Threads like this give us one side of the story. GGG isn't going to chime in and "prove" their case. They don't have to. People know that. So... what exactly are you trying to accomplish? Warn other cheaters that cheating will get you a ban even though you thought you could get away with it?
WTF!!!

I barely can handle 1 client. how the hell you spouse to play 6 at the same time???

I paly for fun, nothing else, but I guess 2 clients double fun?

He doesnt rly.

He either uses a programm which syncs up the movement of every char and he is only really controlling one of them, that is basically cheating and against the terms of service.

Or he just uses his chars to do culling on Dominus and stuff, if so he doesnt need to do much,
the char would be "afk" for most of the time and only be moved in via TP when dominus is about to die to do the culling.

Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me.
He also likely has the graphics set so low that you couldn't really even tell what game he was playing.

It's a challenge of a different sort. Some people like to see just how far they can get and still be allowed to play. Getting banned is like having your HC character die... it's just part of their game. If you don't occasionally get banned, you're not trying hard enough.

Dont reply with hate... I'm just informing people of what happened to me.

I got banned using Sandboxie to run an extra client on POE. Was manually clicking between them... nothing automated. Do not run more then x2 per machine because they can see your MAC address. I had x4 on one computer and x2 on laptop culling domi.

Chris Wilson: Our current stance on multiboxing is you're welcome to run multiple clients on the same machine, but you should be playing each one, and if you're using tools to proxy your input between them and stuff like that, then that's an unfair advantage. So if it's exactly the same as walking between six computers and you move the mouse at each one and you control the character, that's no problem at all. But as soon as you're running cheating programs to make it so you're effectively running one guy with the power of six, then that's a problem.

Thanks and have a nice day!

Sandboxie

I don't even care if they are willing to let you open 2 clients, imo if you are running more than 1 client on 1 pc thats cheating, even if you control both manually. They say 2 is the limit, so you either used more than 2 or used a program to control clicks, like a bot, or you tried to use hacks.
