I have tried that before and have used Sorrow of the Divine the same way but I did not really like it. You are right though, getting Zealot's Oath is not necessary, I just suggest having it.

what about uniques/rares for leveling? im palaying the same build right now.

Can someone tell me please,why Poison Gem?
I mean its really good,but is it better than added fire?

2K hp / 3.6K ES

Need Energy from Within and some decent ES gloves. Also a few more levels (aura + ES nodes) and then I will go low life. After that I want to 6S / 5L my chest and get an ES helmet.

Can't wait till I get merci+uber lab done for another two totems and more placing speed.

I am leaning toward the bottom one, inspired learning seems like allot of fun.

I have been thinking if it is ok to do without shavs or poor man shavs.

Will two Coruscating Elixir and max chaos rez be enough? Maybe we can do this with a Broken Crown?
Since we already have three resist auras, our gear could have some space to slot in chaos resists.

Currently, I sit comfortably at 6.9k ES, with Vaal Disc charged I can quickly pop it should I face repeated hits.

I am also thinking it might be better to use Phasing flasks instead of granites? This will improve our chances to not get hit and start the ES recharge.

If you got problems for es recharge switch one of the puritys for vitality aura (pref in Prism Guardian) and go stone/chaos golem + spam enduring crys in fights+flasks you should be fine and you can go Enfeeble too for extra dmg reduction :)

Added fire will appear better on your tooltip DPS but poison has a potential of dealing more because it stacks, especially once you have nice cast speed.

Another reason I like poison over added fire is because added fire is mitigated by resistances that you see on many map mods. As of right now, there are no additional chaos resistance mods on maps.

I thought the same about not using the poor-man's Shavs, but I insta-ripped the first time I encountered even a tiny amount of chaos damage (stood in a patch of desecrated ground before I got my Steppan's, lol). It's 100% necessary with this build, sadly, even with really high chaos res (at least in my experience)

As for Phasing Flasks - YES! I've been using one too and it's been fantastic. Maybe Granite is better, but I haven't tried it.

I'll link my dank gear for anyone who's curious because I was very scared to transition to low-life with this build. About 32k dps (buffed), 5.5kES and 79-82 all res. Also have other gems in my offhand leveling, including a super lucky Level 2 Empower that I vaaled when it dropped beside a Vaal Orb (FATE DEMANDED IT!):



Pretty much facerolling through Tier 9 maps at level 83 at the moment with this pretty turd gear, but I have ripped a few times to a couple of scary bosses because I'm bad and also I think some bosses have been remade since I last played :O

Also, for anyone interested, I did Merc Lab at level 73 with 9k dps/3k HP + 1.5k ES, so this build can do that pretty early too!

Just hit 10k ES with shavronees and stuff, Waga what u think , void battery or taste of hate? which should i get first ? =)
