Champions of norrath and Baldurs Gate.
PS: "Snowblind" were ones an great games dev. company.
i always have a fondness for
sega genesis game
Rings of Power
i like sooo much about it, not the best game, but i wish someone would improve upon it. ... or like remake it?
Outcast, not really an RPG but the experience was very much the same as an RPG,it felt like one.It had no stats but it did have upgradeable weapons plus you could collect stuff to have ammo crafted for you.The storyline was great with a very good ending(if somewhat sad).It had questing and you had to do similar stuff to Gothic where you try to gain favour of the people by doing things for them.It was very atmospheric game.
RIFT
You should check out Fallen Earth. Pretty cool.
Dungeon Masters 2 (probably one of the worst RPGS ever) - the fact that it was so awful made it compelling when I was a child.

Lands of Lore (the first one) - Aukshell and Bukata; come on, great game!

Lost Eden - I rented this game once, you had to build civilizations or something on a lost continent with dino people or something and give them gold dust... I don't remember it too vividly I remember making a mistake once on the order of events and the game would no longer progress and I have never been able to find it again.

And finally,

Chrono Trigger for SNES - classic.
Just my preference but for me I'd personally go down to classics such as Earthbound. Simple times..
Gothic 2 but there are too many good RPG´s...

Baldurs Gate, Dragon Age, The Witcher and so on
Final Fantasy VIII <3
