Sorry to double post but ive seen several comments like this one floating round on reddit in this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/7z0c3k/32_when_your_brother_was_so_brutally_nerfed/

Allegedly Chris Wison has said somewhere that the max degen will be nerfed but they havent decided by how much. Im sorry i have no source for the dev comments except the thread.

i hope it will be reduced down to 5% :D anyway, thats why i didnt change anything yet in this guide. i will w8 for final patch notes

mind over matter and tukohama (blood magic) dont work together ;) and you have no heal mechanic besides yor life regen, wich is kind of ... meh

but if realy u want go hierophant than "Ritual of Awakening" and "Sanctuary of Thought" will be the way to go. the 50% reduced mana cost is very cool if u dont play with tukohama

I feel like Chieftain has a really nice package going on, in between regen, leech and damage, with possibility for 100% convertion to fire without much hassle... Betting on it seems like a sure thing, while betting on slayer, after such a rework, seems like a gamble.

I was waitning on champion, which we now have. I dont want to go chieftan, not interested in going the fire route.

Champion COULD be very good IF the taunt will work on endgame bosses, in its current form it dosent. Theoretically if it did we could drop resolute technique and use rigwalds talisman which could be pretty wild. Lots of the ascendancy releases need more info on the finer points but i guess we will find out when the patch notes drop. Scion may be the last option worth looking at too

10% seems still hard to manage with totem build , is this worth to keep playing zerk but without taking rite of ruin ?

-Ramako unchanged
-Tawhoa 6% fire damage per endurance charge (down from 10%)
-Hinekora is now worded "on hit" instead of "when you hit" implying totems can apply ash debuff
-Ngamahu now 70% oh phys as fire (down from 100%)
-Both totem nodes unchanged
-Top minor nodes now give endurance charge duration (instead of 10% fire damage)

chieftain got a HUGE buff. they changed 100% inc fire dmg with 70% phys add extra fire. this is around 170k dps buff in PoB

and with these zerker changes, i think zerker is still viable for us. atm im at ~15% reg and i have around 2,5% life reg left in the zerker tree. so we wont degen, wich means all is fine :)

No it was 100% extra fire and now is 70%. Unless you are comparing is to the current Chieftain.
