d3 will be great if it ever releases but taking a look at PoE this game looks great and seems to have allot going for it but i would love to play the beta for this game it just seems dark and evil, sweet classes, bad ass skills, all things im looking for in a dungeon game
although i still have not tryed PoE, youtube videos make it look Brutal SAWTOPSY TECH DEATH

You can play both of games..
I try path of exile for while and i am in beta for D3.. Both games is fun =) I will play Diablo3 on the day, and poe in the night =) Poe veteran! Have been here sense November 2010.

wow reading this entire thread was kinda funny. never seen so much hate on a game from someone before they played it lol.
My opinion is that no game made these days is absolutely original. something is always borrowed or copied. I think thats the problem these days. But once you find your cup of tea you can find certain aspects of games that draw you to them. I personally like this game. I watch youtube vids of other players and it looks amazing. If someone wants to call it a clone, who cares lol. I want THIS game, I want to play THIS game. All I need is a bet key *cough cough wink wink* haha If women were made of games and liquor we would get along much quicker

I just don't get why people defend D3, it would have been good 5 years ago but they spent to much time planning ways to be money grubbing buggers and released it way to late.
I know people are saying they enjoy both but think about it, D3 is a game thats been whats, 10 years in development? made by a company that made a MMO that makes billions a year, poe is made by a small indie company in most likely a lot less time. D3 should blow this out of the water but it doesn't it just about manages to do some things better while poe does other things better (like the graphics and the levels system). And on top of this theres 3 other similar games coming out very shortly as well which also seem to do some things better than D3 and will most likely be games people will enjoy as well. So in my books that makes D3 a complete failure Am I really the only one who sees that D3 being about as good as these other games made by small indie companies in far less time makes it much worse? |

I agree that some of these smaller companies are trying to make a mark in the industry. I love it. Its just sad that sometimes they dont get enough support from others to keep it successful and going. I would love to see this game be amazing. Thats why im kindly waiting for my key here

If this game does get enough support to make a sequel (or just to make a lot of improvements and expansions) then I can imagine it will quickly become a lot better than diablo. Of course they will also need to not becoming money grubbing idiots like blizzard, I'm guessing the main reason D3 looks so shoddy compared to what a company like blizzard should be capable of is because they just want the most money possible and they know everybody will buy it because its Diablo 3.
A good example of them being money grubbing is the AH system, they say its to stop gold selling but all its going to do is make people with money buy up all the good items then resell them for a fortune utterly destroying the games economy and allowing people to buy power. And when asked about this in a interview they said *Well thats for the players to sort out among themselves*.......... They are either just doing a shoddy job for the most money possible or the people working on D3 have the IQ of a dead snail |

Its a shame gaming has gotten to that point too. I understand its a business, but you cant just recycle crap over and over and call it gold. Major companies with money need to be the first ones to come out and say, "We are going to go in a different direction than what we are known for... " etc etc. The big names need to come out and put a foot down and shake things up. Leaving the responsibility of finding ways to improve a game shouldnt always be the players, thats what a beta is for. But to say its not important is just plain lazy.
Will I play D3? i dont know. If my brother buys it I might try it for myself, but the long wait killed me lol. Put crap in the ground for years a diamond comes out... I really cant say that about D3 sadly If women were made of games and liquor we would get along much quicker
