Of all the privates messages on the forum, the messages in game and all the replies here you're the first person I hear saying vortex isn't good for leveling. Even reddit praises it. ZiggyD leveled with it and didn't even focus on the primary damage and he was destroying everything. I don't know what to tell you at this point. Everyone finds it easy and smooth.
