You're nerfing shit within mid league.

I miss the days when Acrobatics did not have such heavy drawbacks or Ondar's Guile being around. While it would had been obvious for evasion max block melee builds, at least melee had something going for them. On the other hand, the best defense is never making contact with the enemies, but you can make contact with the enemies via other options.
Spoiler
Ondar's Guile > Arrow Dancing, both in name and mechanically.
Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

" They could get close to immortal, so yeah, pretty much very powerful. Meta has changed a lot obviously, but the item that allowed that much of a high block like this was BoR. Now there are other balances issues on other builds, and the power creep buffed much more some others, no doubt. Maybe the main problem would be that BoR would not really fit into the recent fast-clear meta also. But max block with vengeance can still be very powerful, no doubt. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading. Last edited by Fruz#6137 on Jun 11, 2016, 4:13:42 AM

"source So Chris made the effort to stress that CoC would be getting looked at for 2.4.0 but stopped there didn't acknowledge any other (melee) concerns given the context. Does this mean that improvements to melee won't be in 2.4.0? It certainly implies that it's more important for people to know that CoC is "receiving some love" than for long standing and deep rooted issues for melee being made a priority. IGN: Victory_Or_Sovngarde It's not a 13 week development cycle, it's a 13 week supporter-pack cycle. You can play any build you want, as long as it's the current meta. " This is happening since closed beta , are you new or something ? R.I.P 4.B.

"It was broken back then though. Max Block > Acro > Ondars with dodge and evasion = Invincible It got nerfed rightfully soo but evasion is in a pretty bad state especially with the new physical spells being added to monster abilities. Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!
Labyrinth salt farm miner. "But my build diversity" , "Game is too hard!" - Meta drone playing the same 1-3 builds for years. |

" The thing is they should have put a penalty on max block instead of all block. Exspecially Dualwielding feels very punishing as an acrobatics char. For me you are kinda supposed to get some block with dualwield but with Acrobatics you lose a lot of it. On the other hand they are buffing dodge over and over and over. Basic Dodge is 40%, 6% from Ascent from Flesh, 10% from Hyrri's, 16% from Darkray, 6% from two swords, 6% with Quartz Infusion, 10% from Hinekoras Sight, 2% from the Jewel. Also Spelldamage can reach a similar high level, exspecially if you add Flasks to the mix. So they kinda turn dodge into an issue again, even without block. Technically I think you could even get 100% chance to dodge for a short time. |

" Clearly you are. It's rare for them nerf stuff in the middle of a league in terms of skills for good reasons. Dys an sohm Rohs an kyn Sahl djahs afah Mah morn narr Last edited by Coconutdoggy#1805 on Jun 11, 2016, 5:43:32 PM
