How I reached level 100 with only 4 stash tabs

Gratz on 100! For as long as I've been playing, I've never made it there. Just got my first 90 TBH.

You and I are on opposite sides as far as storage goes. I have hoarding issues, 108 tabs + currency tab.

If you ever need a little storage room, feel free to contact me.

Heh, congrats Deadpeng. :D
Didn't have time to read the post, yet, but wanted to congratulate nonetheless.

Thanks Mik. It is so great to have you as one of my first friends in POE.

Gz on 100, what branch of theoretical physics you aim for?

I am doing condensed mattter physics. I have already found a mentor as well as a path to follow. So it is kind of already determined.

Ohh nice, i'm also aiming for condensed matter physics/computational physics in materials sciences, best of luck in your pursuit of phd.

Good luck! Hopefully one day we can publish papers together on Weyl fermions and stuff!

Hahax. Thanks for the offer but I dont think storage space can be transferred and against the rules to be shared too.
cool story bro

don't know why it should take more stash tabs than that to level though. honestly I don't know why so many people are so obsessed with them. It's like everyone is vying for a chance to be featured on "Hoarders"

Awesome, congrats!

Now you can play frogger without worrying about dying to a lag spike on traps without losing 10% of exp.
GZ on hitting 100!

POE is such a test of one's willingness to change and adapt. In fact, out of 10 beginners I coach, 8 eventually quit because of how mentally unprepared for this game they are. If you are interested, here are my keypoints:

Understand GGG's philosophy Plenty of players find the game tough to adjust to because their builds often stop working due to the constantly changing game from each update.

The problem with the game is not that it is "tough to adjust to" - that is the easy part. And the game is in no way "a test of one's willingness to change and adapt" all this game is after hitting let's say level 90 is a test of the players willingness to do the same boring bullshit over and over again. Let's face it running 2500 gorge & plateau maps isn't difficult it is just boring as hell!

Well. I know friends who adopt builds so powerful that they can carry end game maps for other players that they can play tier 14-15 everyday and reach level 100 effortlessly. If someone is willing to 'adjust' to that kind of gameplay then it would not have been boring.

I know what you mean. What I mean by 'adjust' is to play the game in a way that guarantees success and not just stick to one's own opinion of what to do.

First of all, a huge congratulation to your lvl100 achievement without spending a single dollar. It's not an easy feat and it's proven by a small fraction of players that have reached this level after so many years this game has rolled out to the public.

I have to ask though, given your education level, I assume you are not young, probably at least 30+ years old?
At this age, as an adult, you're responsible and answer for your own choice. I'm struck by what you told "I have also promised my parents to not spend a single cent on online game services, which was why I never bought a single stash tab".
It's just so wrong. Probably just me.

Grats again.

Nope. Not just you. I can accept that some people have tight finances and cannot support even if they love the game. Heck, I would even be ok with someone says he's a Scrooge and would not pay a single cent for whatever he can get away with for free. But to use the parents as an excuse for a young adult responsible for his own actions... Well, maybe some of those brain power should go to thinking about broader issues in life.

Now, that's some tough love there OP.

Woooww. Looks like someone has a rather different definition of filial piety. I can only understand, but not agree I guess...
