" Actually, I have doubts that PoEdb interprets the data correctly. On paper, all of T16 have this -80% curse efficiency. That includes the Hydra. But the difference made by TC vs Hydra is very noticeable, it doesn't look like she's just 8% slower. There are many other things listed on PoEdb that don't seem to reflect the actual encounters. For example, according to PoEdb, Shaper's beam deals lightning damage as well as cold and fire - and that's definitely not true. It's just some mined data, but there are more things in play (the code, the mechanics, perhaps some additional parameters that were not listed). Kelvynn, i corrupted x2 CWC and i got

Thank you very much for your excellent guide, it's really well-written and very helpful, and I enjoyed it a lot. I just respecced into your build and CI after obtaining a Whispering Ice, just tested it and am really enjoying it a lot. Thank you.
Can I ask some questions from my newb perspective? " 1. How did you get that much ES? I only have about 6k :-/ With so many uniques, there also doesn't seem to be that much room for getting Int on gear without spending a lot (yet), but... if I "only" have a 12% Black Sun Crest, is that still better than a decent ES helm? 2. How can a newb like me see how far my Blasphemy radius extends? I'm not sure how close I need to get. 3. Just wondering if this is a really stupid idea or acceptable: How useful is Enfeeble in saving my life against bosses? I was wondering if it were viable to switch out Enfeeble (blue gem) and Flammability? My main problems seem to be in getting overwhelmed or 1-2 shotted by bosses. 4. I have not yet invested the large amounts of regrets to undo my poor bandit choices from my previous build yet, so I am missing some points, and I have not invested as much into gear and gems as I could, but do you think my character (Elektrizitas) is doing ok for 79? " 21/20 is BiS. It makes Icestorm proc every 0.34s (it gains a level in the staff and effectively becomes lv 22) which is equal to 3% MORE damage as cast speed. |

" 1. The exact gear and tree is in the top post, and you can see the char in my profile too (Ice_Legacy). I haven't upgraded the char since posting the video, it's the same as it was by the end of it. 2. You can see the orange WM glyph on the mobs around you. Go to Dried Lake for a walk, it has the best mob density, you can see exactly how far your aura reaches. 3. Enfeeble is a life saver, especially against the bosses, even though they partially mitigate curses. Replacing it with Flammability will only result in more death. 4. You skipped the jewel socket near Vaal Pact, get that ASAP (Fertile Mind). Converting Dex and Str to Int is very important. You took Catalyse way too early but skipped Ancestral Knowledge, bad choice. You are 3 nodes away from Unwavering Stance, get it next and you won't get 'overwhelmed' (stunned?) a lot. 12% Black Sun is too low. Get a better one, or even use Doedre's Scorn if your Int is still under 1300 as I suspect it is. I hope you use CE against bosses, you aren't quite ready to MF in high tiers yet. Your gloves are from some other CI build, but they are terrible for this one. Int is everything, get Int gloves. Lightning golem is useless with SR-CwC. If you can't color the gloves RRRG (the cheap and easy method has been linked several times in the last 10 pages here), at least use Chaos. Your chest is also not good for this build. No Int = bad. 6L is cool though. At least craft 30 Int on it (Catarina). And of course you'll need a better belt. But for lv 79 the rest of your gear is OK. You just lack a massive amount of Int because of the tree and gear issues mentioned above. And Int gives you ES and DPS/leech. Fix your Int and you will fix your problems. And excuse me if i wasn't right about you, but if it's not a joke then you must be doing something wrong, the problem is definitely not in this build, and Kelvynn's vids prove this. " So, what are you struggling with? If you are in Standard and have items similar to mine there (11k ES etc), you should be roflstomping everything just like in the 2.5 video. Nothing really changed in 2.6, especially in Standard with the 100% Pyre. Feel free to make your char public and ask questions about particular encounters.
