How are you even using that? It has blood magic.
Only socketed gems have blood magic. Its nice and cheap (1 chaos) 430 es 30 int chest piece, for the beginning of the league. Of course you can't run CoH setup here.

why CWDT setup with CoH + curse + ball lightning instead of AOE spell like shock nova??20% chance of shock is great buff
Because it would have to be so low level that it wouldn't do anything. The ball lightning is just a means of applying the curses. It is low level so that it triggers on basically every pack we encounter.

98 wont change if you use Blessed orb on it. But All Attributes implicit mod on Astramentis rolls between 10 and 16, are you sure you want to waste some Blessed to probably get +4 more to all attributes?

Im kidding :P It may become a useless rare, u have a very nice roll, dont ever do that :D I wasted dozens of Astramentis in Standard until i got +1 curse. Better keep currency for buyng something useful like high int+ES gear, +1 curse Astramentis is for end-game content, u may use Doedre's ring instead for now.

This is a really fun build that I want to try again but was afraid at the start of the league because the staff was something like 4-8 chaos at first. Needless to say it's only one alch now and I'm thinking of trying the build again but the problem is the astramentis, which is always relatively expensive, at least for me and my nooby playstyle. Is it possible for me to just farm low tier maps until I get enough currency for the astramentis, or is it required to get as soon as you reach this part of the game?
