Well would you object to much if i just guessed that 3 out of the ten hits of a single icestorm would hit a medium sized boss per second?

Just if you dropped liege of the primordial for shaper of desolation you would have 6/14 seconds where all your damage except scorching ray ignites. So if during those 6 seconds you are doing 3 instances of damage per icestorm x 15 icestorms you would be stacking 45 ignites per seconds for 4.6 seconds(I think that is right when you factor in temporal chains + the 60% boss curse resistance) which would be over 200 ignites in the perfect circumstances which is over 2000 increased damage. Now even if you could only hit 1/3rd of that during a boss fight that is still a lot of damage.

You also kinda made a mistake with the burn damage. Normaly a burn over the 4 seconds does 80% of the damage from the initial hit. Closer to 90% with temporal chains on bosses . Emberwake reduces that to about 18% of each hits damage. So the taming alone would increase icestorms total damage by about 18 % during shaper of desolation and about 5% outside of it( you would have about 28-32% ignite chance outside of the 6 seconds of "all your damage burns" due to shaper of desolation). But then when you add in ignite stacks + the taming, which effects burning damage, lets be conservative and say 60 stacks, you could have each hit doing 600% increased damage and the burn doing 18%x6 increased damage again, which would be each burn doing about 108% of the damage of the 600% increased damage hit, for every hit during you 6 seconds of "all damage burns".

And that is not even ideal circumstance where you could get over 200 ignites(assuming 3 hits per second of each icestorm) which would mean 2000% incrased damage on each hit and each hit burning for 360% of its damage over 4.6 seconds during shaper of desolation.

Though do you know if the 300 ignites limit is global? Or could you theroretically stack 1500 ignites on 5 different characters at the same time? Just if you got that skill gem which summons a breach you could probably hit the 300 ignite cap, or even more if the 300 ignites is per target. Afterall ignites persist on corpses even after death.

Shaper of Desolation 6/14 sec, and 5-6 sec ramp up time - you'll be dead while waiting for it all to come together. In other words, you'll need to stop facetanking and start dodging (dropping Enfeeble for TC goes along with that). Basically it will be a totally different build.

And I suspect the clear speed will be pretty bad.
