Who else is not going to play PoE anymore because of the lab?

Somebody should stop making Assumptions when he/she is fucking bad at it. You Just assume iam a "No-Lifer" or i just copy and paste my builds. Do you know me? I guess not. Do you know how much time i spend in the game? Again i guess not. You say something about fast reflexes, positioning, teamplay, making fast decisions and so on. But isn't that exactly what you need in the Lab?

Let me tell you something my cute little boy, i play Videogames since you were running naked around the Christmas-Tree. Comodore 64 ever heard of? I bet you are one of that "Gamers" which call Demon Souls or Dark Souls as a hard game. I totally know what gaming means since i played ESL when they name was still ESPL at counterstrike 1.3 times and i managed to win a few tournaments with my Squad at those times. So now put back your Internet-balls and try to annoy somebody else with the few phrases you have catched in some Forums.

So yeah...about that nolife. I rolled srs chargers necro,cost me about 40c to get it to a point where in few levels i could potentially comfortably clear T15s and atziri without any issue as long as the rolls on maps are not too cancerous.
Now assuming that for you reaching merciless is still considered okay and not a total nolife mode,you should have an average of 20-40c in currency after all the conversions.
So what this means is that there are builds,as long as you don't pick a fotm one,that are ridiculously cheap,easy to build,and more than good enough for whatever the game can throw at you.

I get it,some of you lot are butthurt because your computer sucks,or you do,or maybe both of you do and you can't do the lab no matter what,but spewing cancerous crap all over the forum because of your own lack of any sort of ability to play the game should not be instantaneously interpreted as a drawback for the game it self.
They already catered to your lack of ability to play by basically making the lab a global event for all of your future characters,which imho should never have happened since the moment you do it once,all the rest of your characters have the largest power boost from any source within the game available without any effort whatsoever.....and you still cry and whine like little girls?

I like how peoples insults rely to people having no life yet here the same people are on the forums posting for hours and hours on end with endless complaining about the labyrinth.

Really makes you wonder who the people with no life actually are.. Oh wait.

You sound pretty bitter when youre trying to say the game requires no skill (and it requires alot of skill, especially in reaction speed) to play, and that the people who are successful are simply no lifers.

So Prophecy is my first real go at Ascendancy, and I'm firmly against lab atm. Normal and cruel were just repetitive, and Merc feels like it punishes certain builds harder than others. It'd be fine if it was for some RNG enchants, but it's for extremely powerful passives. Chris, in a podcast with ZiggyD and Zenocide, said that his dream for the game was for "people to come home from work, and know they can go slaughter some monsters and have fun". The lab goes against that mentality entirely.

Have challenging content out there, but don't gate class points there.

They arent gated, as people have said many times before you people are just throwing out a term that you have no idea how to use.

Burning Crusade attunements were gated content, you had no way to progress into higher raids and get certain items without getting reputation which took months. As someone else mentioned before EQ and even linked how insane raid progression was with a chart.

They arent fundamental skill points, they are free power points. Again nothing mechanically changed that made the game harder nor was monster damage buffed (they fixed a handful of mobs inconsistent damage and its negligible). I can play my perm league characters that dont have them just fine, just as i did before 2.2 and 2.3

It takes 30 minutes tops for someone to run labyrinth and thats if theyre slow. If you dont want to run it you can have someone else run it for you and you dont even have to be in the boss room to get credit for it.

Please stop saying that Ascendancy points are not fundamental/basic or that you dont need them to play.
We all know that from now on, the game and its content will be balanced around the ascendancy classes, even Chris said it himself in the patch notes...

(something like "due to the power creep certain monsters have been added to the game", too tired to copy/paste it here:) :( )

So, for anyone that says ascendancy is optional, that is simply not true, the game WILL be balanced around it.
That leaves a percentage of the playerbase (how small or big I do not know, but big enough for us to have these conversations/threads in the forums) unable or unwilling to do the lab.
Unable cause of build/skill/gear/old pc? Opinions vary..
Unwilling cause... well, each has his own reasons:)

Now, since Ascendancy points are mandatory and NOT optional, I believe that there should be an alternative way of rewarding them without ofc hindering/stopping the players who do enjoy the lab and its mechanics.

I believe that each one of us finds different things "fun to do" in this game and that we should all be able to enjoy it without attacking/trashing each others' playstyle.

Thats all, I hope noone got insulted by my post, it was not my intention at all, just wanted to add my opinion in the mix:)
