Fix your rig, i'm using a GTX 970 too and FPS goes down to 35-40.
Instead of messing around with your NIC konfiguration you should try to use QoS or Diffserv on your device(Router) or in windows if your device is not capable of QoS or Diffserv, also using dns availability groups helps alot if your ISP dns is crap. I'm using google public dns and opendns I doubt that many ppl here are using jumboframes or 3 layer switches or even got enough network traffic so LSO/LSC kicks in. I've tested this and it has no effect in my network and yes i got a 3 layer mang. switch and i'm using a Linux Firewall Distro. Selffound FTW!!!!

I haven't tried it in combo with the game yet, but toggling this on my pc at work has made a noticeable difference. Recommended our IT department check up on this because we were have performance issues.
So, it looks legit so far, especially on computer that have lots of network traffic. My computer experience at work has changed from always feeling a tad slow, but manageable, to nice and smooth.
