Discharge lagging you? The cure is here!
" That sounds correct - did you see the warning that came up saying if you change any router settings it will cause the router to restart, disabling network connectivity for a few minutes? Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

" These are the correct steps; and, afaik should be the same from XP thru windows 8 perhaps even 10. (though I've only Vista so really can't tell ya fer sure) When I said cure, I meant for the headache lol I still get lag; but, you're gonna experience a slight lag from something no matter what. Whether it be latency, or a performance bottle neck somewhere. Personally, this fix has made a tremendous change to the amount of frame drops I get from graphically intense spells/skills such as discharge. Anywho, g'day. |

" Confirmed, same steps in Windows 10. Will try it. I don't have any problem with my own discharges but only with other dischargers and some other builds. Timezone: GMT (+2:00) RST

Update..
A friend said he couldn't locate the setting to disable in the same location due to being on wireless or something. Instead he found it in something called netsh; no idea what that is, but surely will help someone. |

Path of exile doesn't use a LOT of bandwidth. It uses a constant, small stream which cannot be interrupted.
Here's a tip: get the angry ping utility and ping your router every 250 milliseconds. Just a ping. It won't hurt anything. It will also keep your wifi from going into low power mode on loadscreens, or ever. Quoting Saltychipmunk:

" LSO has nothing to do with it, if you'd read further into the thread you'd have noticed it's the LSC(IPv4) that needs to be adjusted. |
