Nice build, but can you give us some tips about how to level up, like gem combos, nodes, equips, etc...? I'm kinda lost and have no idea how to do it. Thanks in advance!

i leveled as / with selfcast bladefall. (spellecho, controlled destr, con eff, faster casting, poison?) smooth till level 60 or so. i was leveling mine/trap and other needed support gems in my offhand till dried lake merc. the most important nodes are the "mines cannot be damaged after placing them.." at the right side (ranger/shadow area). once u get that, you could play as a miner. damage will be insane with a 5 or even 6L. oneshotting bosses and speeding through content.

1-12 lvl use spark with 2x Lifesprig wands. 12-28 lvl use firestorm + remote mine + minefield (use that in lifesprig) 28-100 lvl use bladefall + remote mine + minefield+trap and mine dmg+poison Auras ------------------------------------------ 16-31 use discipline + arctic armor 31-100 take blasphemy+enfeeble+ temporal chains -u ll need Doedre's Damning to support 2 curses) drop ring later when u get ur last lab (mostly i used 5 links , its cheaper and u have enough dmg to down any boss) ------------------------------------------ Gear ------------------------------------------ 1-35 use lifesprigs 31 Doedre's Damning buy this ring(1c 1 extra curse) 35-56 buy 50+ spell dmg wand 35 grab shield with ES high life 35+ u can grab cheap 5 link body armor (add poison for ur last gem... swap minefield for conc eff for bosses) -Later change gear to cap res (high life on es gear ) -The Sorrow of the Divine can help u with lvling more dmg Swap to CI -------------------------------------------

65-68 (it all depends on gear u can buy lvl req) -5link Chest with 450-550 es is fine -rings get 40+ es /resistance/ (dex if needed) -amulet get 15% es/20+dex is ok -belt get one with es cause u dont need dmg, u can swap later -rest of gear /head/boots/gloves get atleast ~120 es or more -weapon Darkscorn (dex is easy to get) -offhand Soul Strike -to boost es at start use Energy From Within 10%+ (put it close to mending) -U ll end up with 6k + es and proly ll have problems capping res . if u have res problems drop Doedre's Damning and pick up Windscream . (when u finish 3rd lab drop windscream ) -u ll have to respec 10-15 points didnt count Lab /Tips -------------------------------------------

45-50 Just DONT go with full buffs on boss :D some combos can be fatal
(pick wicked ward) Without immortal call CWDT dont even try to do lab.. Also use stone golem -Some doesnt trust CI in lab but i like with Darkscorn and Soul Strike (Soul Strike makes life easy in labs) Cruel 65-68 when u grab ur soul strike. (u can skip it and do it later when u are rdy for merc lab) but that point can help u with clear speeds 72-75 u are rdy for merc lab (dmg and def is there ) only thing u need to care is to weak boss in trials -Just put it on (Soul Strike) and go stay on spikes u should be able to afk on them. -Problem comes when u getting constant dmg and u cant recharge ur shield. -But if u are getting constant dmg u proly doing something wrong :P -The Sorrow of the Divine + stone golem use it -cause we use bow Blink Arrow can be great tool to skip harder traps .. combined with flame dash ez traps skill tree

Just a silly question about the gameplay. I don't feel confortable dropping mines and detonating them with "D". Is there better a way to do it? Another one, is there a way of dropping mines like holding shift, but using right click without having character walking to stop them?

Ussualy droping mines is done by right mouse click(you can change that in OPTIONS - input)
