I would just go with shadow assassin for crit so you can take the elemental damage starting points which are a lot better. And I don't really see why you would want to go duelist, fortify is always up anyway with melee builds.
And your swords crit is really low so assassin is for sure the best choice

hopefully this isnt a silly question but is lit pen that much better than added Fire damage?

lots of fun! ST sure is back. this scales way (WAY) better than the life/crit binos i attempted early in the league.

Personally I am using



It heals me for 1500-2000 life a second. Feels like half a vaal pact most of the time. And combines with the mana leech to keep it up 100% and have no mana issues as long as I am hitting something.

It also allows me to use a high speed weapon with no need for -skill cost jewelery which can save a lot. And it saves me 3 passives for life as I don't feel I need vitality void.

Although I keep it up by not using herald which means no curse on hit. I run CWDT enfeeble anyway. It can be done with herald but it is less reliable.

I allways wanted to try ST since rampage when i started , so i gave it a go


Level 79 raider , 4200 life , 8 frenzy charges , resists capped




Followed the tree and pretty much just steam rolled cruel and merciless with the exception of Malachai merciless

Tooltip ST is about 16k with 8 frenzy and flask , ST cost 10 mana to cast thanks to eleron rings

Enjoying it , but single target is a little weak but attack speed is pretty cool

Hey i decided to make this build as Scion (dunno why but just like that).

Im lvl 79 atm with 7 frenzy using Wrath + HoT without Conductivity.
I use those items



Also those flasks



I have 55k pure lightning dps with all frenzy, 60k+ with Vessel up ofc both with GMP. Also pure lightning dmg gives me 1 hit full hp on flask use + i can use flaks all the time so i ever run out of mana but in case i have take mana leech (2%) on tree except hp leech which isnt required that much when i got the Vessel.

Attack speed is just huge so i clear maps mega fast + 1 shot every mob. I just run thru map and it clears itself haha.


I swapped lightning penetration with 20/20 elemental focus that gives tons of lightning dmg ofc ST will not shock enemies but HoT and flask will do so i lost nothing, just gained.




EDIT: I swapped atriri's step for those (self vaaled it)

I reach now 9 frenzy and 65k dps with GMP / 74k with LMP / 84k with 5L only (no GMP or LMP) and with sloer projectiles (14lvl 6q atm) 110k dps (i use it only on atziri to dont get rekt by reflect since my projectiles fly far far away).

@Landosss: When you skill Acrobatics isn't it better to switch the Belly of the Beast to another Armour with mass evasion? Perhaps with good resistances, so you can swap the schield and put in another sword?

another question: what do you think about Victario's Acuity?

and whats with the new lightning golem?
