StupidFatHobbit's Sovereign Filter

"
So first off, I just started using this filter this league coming from mostly only ever using filterblade previously and I have been really liking it, both for how easy slotting in custom sounds was just using the same file names you established and also how easy it has been to customize. So thanks a bunch for making and maintaining it to begin with.

But anyway, I also have found an issue that seems like a typo you should fix that I just want to make you aware of. In section 11A in the EV/ES gear portion, the 3rd block which is AreaLevel <= 72 and DropLevel >= 60 has BaseEnergyShield = 0 rather than > 0 as it presumably should be. Line 5033 in Strict - CS version is specifically where I have spotted this problem, but I think the same problem is present in General - CS and probably the other versions also but I haven't checked them myself.

Good catch, fixed for the next update which should hopefully be out tomorrow.

Secrets of the Atlas / Mercenaries of Trarthus Update I

Economy update for the league with significant changes to a number of sections.

I've been tightening General during maps for a while to avoid the "switch to Strict when you reach maps" filter meta and I finally overshot in the last update that addressed this section. If you were feeling rare-starved on leaguestart this was why and it should be a lot better now. The idea is that you stay with General until you get to t16 maps and acquire good bases, use Strict for the majority of mapping, and switch to Uber when you're doing juiced content. On levelling new characters, use General for leaguestart (obviously), Strict for using some basic levelling gear while wanting to use bindings on certain slots, and Uber for using pre-prepared gear for every slot and level range.

For those who have been following the stream, please note that it has changed from twitch.tv/sfhobbit to twitch.tv/stupidfathobbit

Changes:
- Section 11a (Rare Armour) now only has 2 sub-blocks instead of 3 and covers much wider ranges. The default ranges now also vary based on filter strictness - previously they covered droplevel ranges of 5, 10, 12. Now it's 22 in gen, ~15 in strict, 6 in uber (remains disabled by default in uber). They previously also had no overlap, new method now has significant overlap in General with less in the other filters. End result is a lot more desired rares showing in Gen with a fair amount more in Strict.
- Section 11b (Rare Weapons) - Added a fair number of weapon bases to better reflect the current meta and to cover more archetypes by default
- Section 10 (84+ filtering) - Now shows vaal axe instead of despot, highborn bow instead of spine. Removed coral ring. Reduced the number of shield bases showing by default, now only shows ES, spell, and ES/EV.
- Tincture highlighting annihilated, and they're now treated like utility flasks. Hidden in strict/uber unless unique. I didn't play Settlers and I had no idea how spammy they had become. Sorry.
- Updated fractured highightling, moved it almost entirely over to droplevel based filtering. More bases should show by default now than before.
- Increased highlight on amethyst ring in levelling ranges, sound added
- Scouting reports dropped several tiers
- Further differentiated highlighting for low and high value shards
- General filter now shows orb of binding same as strict in map levels. Strict now hides bindings at 70 instead of 77
- Echoes moved to a more appropriate highlight
- Favorite maps now use t16 sound instead of red tier sound. Default favorites set to Mesa and Jungle Valley.
- Removed white bg cluster jewel highighting as values have dropped
- Raised white bg 6L threshold to droplevel 72 given existence of the new bases
- Moved Maven's Chisel to a more appropriate highlight (same as delirium orbs now)
- Hid high ilvl flasks in Uber unless 21q+
- Strict now shows gloves/boots/helm/chest of all types while levelling for binding usage. Uber serves the "show nothing while levelling" function that Strict previously did. The main difference between strict/gen levelling now is the amount of jewellery showing and highlighting on basic currencies.
- Removed the optional high juice mf blocks in the unique section. They were based on Affliction and their continued existance would only bait the ignorant
- Fixed an error in 11a which caused the ev/es blocks to highlight armor items instead

Uniques:
- Tiered new uniques.
- Instead of sound with no icon, LVV now uses icon with no sound. Temp light remains.
- LVV now uses a pale blue border (previously no border), MVV uses a bluish green (previously pale blue). UVV remains cyan.
to max: Champion's Kite Shield, Girded Tower Shield
to HV: Dusk Blade, Pagan Wand, Martyr Gloves, Imperial Bow
to MV: Steel Ring, Murder Mitts
to LV: Barbute Helm, Corrugated Buckler, Bone Circlet
to HVV: Saint's Hauberk, Spidersilk Robe, Spine Bow
to MVV: Lacquered Buckler, Studded Belt, Glorious Plate, Occultist's Vestment
to LVV: Imbued Wand, Nightmare Bascinet
to default: Eternal Sword
to trash (hidden in Uber): Goldywrm, Crusader Chainmail
- Various other minor changes and tiering adjustments.

Div Cards:
- Tiered new div cards.
to default: The Hunger, The Conduit, Rite of Elements
to trash (hidden in Uber): Card Sharp

The best way to stay up to date is to make sure you follow the filter on the forum item filter page. If you have questions either catch me while streaming at https://twitch.tv/stupidfathobbit or post them in the forum thread. Since I keep getting asked I have also finally set up a donation link for those who want to support the filter. Many thanks to all those who have donated so far.
