GGG & Kripp - Why?
" Example: You just said something. Now i know who you are and can make an opinion about what you said. My opinion is that what you said is dumb and uninformed. Someone else is going to think you are right. If you never said this then i would never had that opinion about what you wrote. Some ppl agrees with you, some ppl disagrees. Some makes up their own minds, some dont. If you think 10k Kripp streamers all are unable to make up their own minds then you have no idea. |

Kripp seems down on PoE since I joined like spring of 04. Whats funny is he got me into it while I was playing D3 I'd peek at his vids from time to time and he was fanatical about it. Then soon as I gave it it a shot he quit.
I'm pretty bored too now so I understand. Very few games you can play forever...chess maybe? Anyway I'm gonna try it casually like I played last 2-3 patches in my down time. WTH. Git R Dun! Last edited by Aim_Deep#3474 on Feb 27, 2016, 6:25:13 PM

" No it was a terrible choice especially considering how he reacted to 2.0 (similar reaction) and there was history of his being bored with the game way before that. GGG just needs to accept Kripp got all he wanted from PoE a long time ago and leave him alone if they don't want bad review. Git R Dun! Last edited by Aim_Deep#3474 on Feb 27, 2016, 6:32:06 PM

You don't think GGG bought this promotion? You think Krip gave up 2/3 of his viewers for 3 days as a favor to GGG? I quote from his reddit post about playing the ascendancy alpha: "I thought I would throw it in there that GGG is not, and has never paid me to play or anything of the sort. I'll be playing solo and will likely not have much time to figure out what I will be doing or playing before the stream. Suggestions welcome." |

The day I need an opinion of a streamer to choose whether to play a freaking F2P game or not is the day I quit gaming altogether simply put.

This whole thread just goes to prove one of two points:
1) our current streamers just don't have the charisma of old Krippers, although I do love many of them! Yoji, Nugi, Raiz, PT, Zig, Malf, Zeno, the list goes on... or, and this is the one IMO. 2) The game is so much easier now on many levels. When Kripp was streaming full time, breaking the game wasn't an easy feat; so the community wanted to see how! I do like the way PoE is heading (it was a very slow game back then!) and I have even personally asked for things like skill gem availability in the past; but it definitely has lost some of it's attraction difficulty wise. I could maybe put it down to my skill improving but, well... I still suck! |

" What it proves to me is that people will read a post saying kripp dissed the game and believe it because they want to, regardless of if they watched the stream or not. |

Sleeping with the enemy is not very wise, in my opinion.
Especially when the enemy doesn't actually make anything or provide a service that others can't. |

yes i am upset as well,i really enjoy this game but for GGG to give someone like kripp the streaming rights to alpha and deny someone like Mors and hedge is just inconceivable !!!!!,the comments at the end to kripps stream and the fact he is no longer streaming it shows what a mistake this was and i know im being judgmental but GGG come on !!,if negative exposure is what was your intention then you made the right choice.to think you would get new viewers that would be interested is a joke,he couldn't even figure out something simple as a movement skill lol,im sorry GGG but this decision was a complete failure and the bad part is that you left hard feelings and resentment in some of your most valuable streamers who would of gotten better results from having streaming rights ,
