Why I struggle to enjoy this game, First time Feedback
" Someone else tried to explain that this issue isn't black and white, the amount of stones\scraps required to 20 quality a white item isn't the same as a unique item. You don't and can't possibly quality to max everything you ever link, its just not possible because you never get enough of the currency to drop. Why your neglecting this point I have absolutely no idea, because it has merit. You literally are using mouse clicks BREAKING YOUR MOUSE as an argument on why something in the game should change without any consideration of why its the way it is your just acting whinny baby at this point, which is further explained based on a response later. Did you break your mouse, if so go buy yourself a dedicated clicking mouse so you don't put that precious wear on your main gaming mouse. Your situation won't ever apply to a player like yourself, you will never click that much because you clearly are too frustrated with core design functions of the game to stick around for the long haul when they neglect basically every single thing you mentioned in your thread. EVERYTHING, literally the currency system, itemization, EVERYTHING is based on the foundation that ID scrolls are a part of. " You've never played an MFer if you think ID scrolls can't hold value on their own, they absolutely do and they are resources that because of the limitation they impose allow for an overall better economy. Some of these points I can agree with with like UI updates and more optimization.
The optimization of POE kept me from playing it regularly for a long time before they added in lockstep. After that most of the serious issues I had with the game disappeared. Because of this I wouldn't put GGG in the same category of other game companies that just want your money without making improvements or hiring more staff with the intention to make improvements. It's up to the individual how patient they are willing to be. I don't disagree with your rant about that applying to other companies though. Unless GGG does something to change my opinion on the matter. That is the point where my wallet will be silent. The mini map and the map overlay definitely needs an update. Is it completely unusable? No, but it needs some love. Optimizing particle effects would be great. I would love for discharge to look the way it did before they toned it down to lessen the lag people were/are experiencing. One thing I think needs to be in the game at this point, and its ridiculous that its not, is colorblind mode. Filters are great for loot on the ground but it does nothing for things that are in your inventory likes gems, or for sockets on the gear. Also can we see the ground effects like shocked ground, etc, under the water. Having to constantly check my buffs and debuffs to see if I'm standing in something while in water is a little much when I have a goatman pouncing my face from off screen. I disagree with your feelings on divination cards because they don't actually take up a lot of space. Same thing with portal scrolls but that because I like the crafting in the game and use them to buy transmutation orbs on the off chance I run out. Wisdom scrolls I have no opinion on. I completely disagree with having an AH and 6L. Watching how players chose to use the AH in D3 is enough for me to leave all my nopes for it. I feel that many of the same things would happen here as well. While I, like others think trade could be made a little more convenient I don't think using poe.trade is that hard to do. Regardless of the fact that its a 3rd party site. As for a 6L you do not need a 6L to play the game so I'm okay with it possibly taking a ridiculous amount of fusings to get. Pray to RNGesus and do whatever jig that strikes your fancy! Map management is its own beast. I know t12-15 are intended to drop less so its important to build those pools up some before you start rolling/running them. I tend to do that with most of my maps when moving up the tiers though. " Better introducing prefixes and suffixes would help. Maybe when we can invite masters to our hideouts? Tutorials like when changing difficulties about the resistance change and such would also be beneficial for the new player. With an option to turn it off of course. Oh, and letting people know in game you can have a loot filter. Last point I want to make about the chaos/regal recipes. Regardless of whether or not you or I like it, its not going anywhere. GGG needs a way to incite people to buy stash tabs. Plus there are very few games I've come across where managing your inventory wasn't a thing. It up to you to decide what is worth the space. |

ive read everything u posted so far in this thread, and literally everything u wrote just shows u have either no clue how this game works or that u are just searching for dumbass reasons to whine about this game. seeing u crying about the need of clicking a few times to 20% an item*cause it will break ur mouse* is for sure the most dumbass mememememememememe ive seen so far about poe. about 13 out of ur 17 points are YOU having no clue how this game works and crying about this fact, not more not less. if u dislike this game so much just dont play it anymore, i highly doubt it will be a loss for the million of people enjoying this game. whatever dude, u are so far away from the reality its probably not even worth discussing with u at all. I hate being punished for dying in situations that i cant escape at all, in higher levels, -10% of your exp often times means 3-5 or even more high level maps that you will have to run again without dying, just to regain what you lost. for example: my scion is a 2h-mace-stun based character, shes 88 atm. she has: - 4 or 5% leech - max res (merciless) - ~8k armor - max 5 endurance charges which are generated when i stun enemies, i dont run maps that have the unwavering mod, so i have 5 charges up 24/7 i can usually do maps up to T9 easily with no major problems, sometimes i need to be more cautious but thats ok. but dying in a fcking T6 strand map to a rare devourer who one-shot me with his volatile iceblood-explosion totally crossed the line for me. a low level T6 (73) enemy shouldnt be able to fkc up my day via a one-shot, its absolutely ridiculous. i dont mind dying because of my own stupidity like killing some blue mobs who had the storm-, flame- or frostbearer mod on them and not moving out of it or stuff like that. same goes for the crazy piety boss in the T6 'Temple' map, i dont even want to be remembered how many times she 2-3 shot me with her storm-herald ability because i got hit by it 2-3 times within 1 or 1,5 secs. and i want to stress, that i had my topaz flask up BEFORE it hit me. so i was @ 85% lightning ress and still got fckd up. how am i supposed to survive one shots? same goes for carnage in T6 Colonnade map. i know he is slow and one can move quickly around him, but ONE little lag, one little mistake can cost you hours of exp. even worse is the problem with strongboxes who are guarded by a rogue exile. not gonna say much, we all know what its like. im playing with '--nosound' to counter the lag and it helped ALOT! but it still happens from time to time and its annoying. im already using a decoy totem + a golem + cwdt setup and leap out instantly after opening any box but hey, sometimes it just fcks me up anyway :-| but the solution shouldnt be me having to disable the sound just to prevent deaths, its removing the fun for me when i cant enjoy the sound or the music of the game. and this stupid one-shot bullcrap shouldnt even be in the game, it totally destroys the fun for me when i get killed like that and theres nothing i couldve done about it. as i said, its okay when i die because of my own stupidity, but being punished for nothing is SO SUPER FRUSTRATING, makes me thing about quitting the game every time it happens. geez, wall of text n/c |

" They might be negligible in your eyes, they are far from redundant. You probably got that narrow tunnel view by having more than enough scrolls by hand in Standard. But in any new league or race format, you start with none. This means that you cant spam them and you will have to decide carefully where to use them to your best advantage. So do not think it is just an artificial time sink because it is definitely not.
