Xandro Blooddrinker is too strong

My KineticBro (3,5-4k HP) evasion based dual wander got no problems with him or Living blood.
But you need to be comited, cant just use Queen of the forest and Grace and call it a day.

Using good offense/leech and suporting your defense with Enfeeble, blinde, Dodge make Hell of a difrance. Having apropriet flask is comon sense, if your build is not balanced you have problems and nothing strange ther i gess.

Xandro? Seriously he is pretty tame nowadays. Exiles got the big time nerf some time ago and since then they pose no real treat unless some crazy mods. I find Thena Moga more dangerous than him to be honest. Also if you want to know what is used to be like try and find some old videos or posts about it. Exiles were pretty deadly.

On the side note, I played 1h groundslammer this league and there was nothing that made me smile so much as stunning Xandro with it. Some of your own medicine you bastard!

You forgot to quote the most important part: "It's a risk I gladly take". As I said that I only have physical dps problems when fighting off Xandro (and probably PVP chars with resolute technique). You can't just quote out of context and then expect your words to magically make sense and form into an arguement. Doesn't work that way.

Sounds like you Facetank a lot. Dual Wield builds are usually pretty tanky afaik.

Well we don't know how subjective you are. e.g. if you play maps that equal your level or maps that are just high enough to gain experience from.

No idea how many characters you'd leveled and fought him with, but your join date is over 2 years old.

Not all content can be handled by all characters, and this is okay.

Strengths and weakness coming into play is a good thing.

Fight Magnus with 20% fire res and with 90% fire res, I bet you'll see a difference.

Fight Xandro with a shitton of armor and with none, you'll see a difference.

This is a good thing.

You can choose the maps (obviously including map bosses) you prefer but not the exiles that pop up.
Nice example. Please show me any char that's level 80+ and doesn't have capped elemental resistances. You will probably only find an aura-partying build :^)

Yeh I actually thought about using enfeeble as my curse but I don't feel like lacking defenses right now. And dodge is really nice. I love it =)
I am currently running with flasks that dispel bleeding and freeze as I fear them to be the most dangerous to me.
What flasks are you using?

You completely missed the point.

Magnus was just an easy example to use.

I've had full armor guys have a harder time with the archer exiles than evasion guys do. Arrow Dodging and Acrobatics are handy yo.

Xandro is not too strong. He just beats on evasion characters a lot better than armor characters.

As many have noted, most of the exiles have been nerfed into the ground, and it makes me sad. The only nerf I agreed with was Minara, screw minion instability (sadly, she's a total joke now too).

I still remember my first encounter with Xandro, in Domiantion league I believe, he was just introduced in the game. His regen (or leech) was so insane, I had to fight him for several minutes, because my DPS barely outdamaged his regen. Now they all die off screen...

Damn too late, support stays vigilant. Arch stop using logic man! It hurts...some people.

This exactly how I remember Xandro from Domination :) Three of us trying to take him down, me upfront franticly trying to survive and two ranged friends dps-ing their souls out. We did it in the end, but man was he one scary sonof****.

Your EVA / ranged chars should be able to off-screen him with crits. Anything that chills / freezes, knockback on crit (King of the hill notable, down at Ranger) is very usefull to keep him at bay. With an "of warding" flask you also have 2x~5 sec of immunity to his curse. Enfeeble / TC helps too.

Your armor & block based melee chars should tank him easily.
