Xandro Blooddrinker is too strong

I looked at the date of the OP because I was sure this was necroed from 2 years ago. I haven't had a problem with him on any of my builds since they nerfed him. If you are getting stunlocked, you need to do something about that. Immortal call or stun avoidance or something. Then when you leaps on you and starts his groundslam you can pop a quicksilver and run away. Just skip him if you can't deal with him.

I encountered him once in the orchard map boss room. Not much running possible there ;)
I didn't even realise he was present after I went back in (I died) and pulverized the trash mobs.

Xandro is pretty strong. I run a ToH, that helps. Also evasion based, ranged, 4.7k life. I am not really scared of him in maps up to T11 or so.

Speaking of unevadable Ground Slam stuff, that Living Blood monster is retardedly strong, much stronger than Xandro. Also has more life. Was much harder than the Waterways boss (which, admittedly, isn't that bad). If I see one, I run.

I'd really like to have a ToH but it's out of my reach right now.
The only valuable thing I have is a 6 linked Queen of the Forest and I accquired that yesterday :3

OP states he is a Ranger. Let us assume he a physical standard bow Ranger (elemental bow ranger usually has the same hp).

His lvl 70 passives are: (this is very standard).

He helps oak and either helps Kraityn in cruel or merciless. Total of 91 passives.

141% increased life nodes.

Let us assume he has fairly standard gear. He has bought himself a Rat's Nest but no Maligaro yet.

His flat life in each item slot is as follows (and these flat life rolls are quite generous to be honest. Unless you have a lot of currency from another character to put into this lvl 70 character the following rolls are high).

Flat life in each item slot:

Quiver 75
Chest 100
Ring 60
Ring 60
Amulet 44 (elreon enchant)
Belt 80 (he is using rustic, not leather)
boots 70
Gloves 60 (haku enchant)

He also a little bit of strength from gear.

(38 base (base) + 40 (oak) + 60 (120 strength) + 70 x 12 + 549 (gear)) x 2,41 = 3680 HP.

If he went for lower damage, no crit and dropped Lethality and got all 5 life / evasion nodes near Revenge of the hunted then he would reach 3985 hp (with a total of 161% life). This would be a rather defensive setup for a level 70 character, but then again we gave him high flat life in almost every item slot.

As for the topic of this thread: I think it is perfectly fine to have certain exiles / bosses / mob types that pose a greater risk for certain playstyles / builds than others. Xandro is fine as he is.

But you underestimate my greediness.
I have 2847 HP, 17445 evasion rating without flask, 64% increased item rarity, 55% crit chance with about ~400% multiplier.
And right now I am actually level 80 =D

Xandro is only a nightmare to extremely low armour builds and evasion builds. Even if you have heart of oak, rape is imminent. The only defences with no drawback is high dps vaal pact es build and high block :^). The others have short comings.. all ranged exiles will be a joke to you but hell for another build type so you just have to live with xandro and and phys spell damage exiles :D.

I guess for Rogue Exiles, melee can be quite efficient.
now if only I could get his damage and attack speed with a Marohi Erqi, and his insane life-regeneration...

No idea how many characters you'd leveled and fought him with, but your join date is over 2 years old.

You should know better.

Not all content can be handled by all characters, and this is okay.

Strengths and weakness coming into play is a good thing.

Fight Magnus with 20% fire res and with 90% fire res, I bet you'll see a difference.

Fight Xandro with a shitton of armor and with none, you'll see a difference.

This is a good thing.

I don't understand. Doesn't OP use a golem? Since I started running with a golem, Xandro is always, and I mean always starts pounding it, not me. And then, well, he just dies.

My below 3k HP bow build doesn't have any real issues with him unless the map has some crazy mods.

To be honest, it feels like all exiles are a lot weaker than they used to be a year and half or so ago.
